Soap operas (even when they were still radio shows) were sponsored and featured product placements of their sponsor’s products.
They became known as ‘soap’ operas because one was sponsored by a soap company and opera because they were easy to digest and able to miss an episode so housewives could follow along while working around the house. And they targeted housewives because they were straight ads.

This isn’t answering the question but imagine someone like Jon steward running. I’m not saying he’s my guy or anything but he would know how to work the media and us to get his message out there.
The right figured it out. It’s not even about just the media too. Left leaning places like Reddit have the rights message plastered on the front page 247 via snarky tweet replies not realizing that all publicity is good publicity. Someone on the left needs to figure out how to amply a left wings vision onto every platform every hour of every single day.

Apple Plans to Defeat RAM Prices by Letting You Lease a Mac
You’re still paying for the more expensive ram. It’s just baked into a higher monthly rental payment. Why pay more for ram one time when you could pay more for ram every month for the rest of your life?

What is it bout all those new Accounts that joined 22-23 days ago?
I checked lemming out recently because Reddit is finally becoming unusable to me. The [removed by reddit] ai policing every comment and way too many mods silently removing comments they disagree with. I’m probably older than 20 days but only but a little bit.

Can't fathom it
I used to think I was the same way but started omad to lose weight and you do get used to it. As long as there’s enough protein and fiber and the meal is big enough then I’m completely fine for 24 hours at a time.

It really depends on the size. There’s home grows all over the place nobody ever smells because tents and negative pressure and activated charcoal filters work. I’ve grown in my house in a very illegal state and felt fine having ac techs come and work right outside that room while flowering.

Users of Arch-based distros, why don't you use pure Arch?
I’ve installed arch manually a few times. The last time I did it I had issues with my nvidia gpu and plasma glitching out drawing weird lines on the screen. I got tired of trying to fix it and went back to windows for a while. Figured I’d try crunchyos to see if their setup resolved that and it did. And now that it’s installed there’s no reason to uninstall.

[drugs] what does LSD feel like?
This is the most realistic movie scene I’ve seen https://youtu.be/axjyydYMhfg. But there’s a lot more of the feeling and the actual high that can’t be shown from a video.

Just got arrested for a supposed DWI even though I blew a 0.0000000. Don't cops need to read your Miranda rights to you? I asked for a blood or hair follicle test and I was denied. WTH is happening?
