Good choice. A nice rich and creamy potato soup always hits the spot.

I make a nice bacon and lentils soup.

The simple version is bacon, onion, lemon juice, veggie stock, and lentils.

The complex version just adds more veggies, and maybe some whole cherry tomatoes thrown in a few minutes before the end. You then get little pops of tomato flavor.

I don't care for soup. It's like food but with too much water.

It's like tea, but tomato flavor.

That's an unfair generalization. Sometimes it's clam flavored!

Clamato???

Who thought "this tomato juice is alright but a little fish taste would really set it off"?

I was actually thinking of Manhattan clam chowder but let's be real, it's close enough.

Or vodka. Really the US are the weird ones of North America for not having popular alcoholic clamato cocktails

Yah, I’m not a soup fan either. I’ll eat it, but as a last choice. Or if I am ill.

One holiday many years ago, I showed up for a quality holiday meal and the hostess served cold gazpacho. Worst holiday meal ever. Would not eat again.

I did try a cold avocado soup once, it was OK. I like avocados.

When I lived near San Diego, my brother worked for an avocado packing plant (Colavo?). He would bring home a BOX of overripe avocados that were too far gone to go to market. We had to eat them NOW!

That's why you add enough bread or saltine crackers to make it thick enough to eat with a spork.

Aahh, the old cracker porridge. Fewer lumps than regular porridge.

Tomato soup is good, but have you heard the good news of creamy potato soup?

I need soop to distract myself from thoughts about the soapy tiddy gf.

Man, remember when nazi was experiencing semantic drift to encompass extreme nitpickers and hardasses because it just wasn't being used enough? Damn, we didn't know we even had it good, now that the fucking nazis are back to take the term back to its roots.

Ooo, next weekend can be chili weekend. I'm going to see a play my friend wrote and I should bring them all some steaming bowls of love.

What is actually soup mode? Like you're starting to want warmer soupier comfort foods in response to the coolling weather?

5

Nah. You liquify yourself into a bowl so now you have no physical body that can get distracted

You reached the end
