Fugazi! 🔥🔥🔥
When I was a 20-something, I saw them play at the theater in Fort Worth, Texas. About halfway through the show, Ian Mackay yells out from the mic between songs, "yo! Looking for ! Where are you? I got your wallet."
Embarrassing, funny, and awesome.
Honestly I'd be too busy thinking "omg Ian MacKaye said my name" to be embarrassed 😅
Excellent taste
Sometimes I think it's a little eclectic, but who really cares as long as you like it?
🤌
Exceeder - DJ Mason
Equally Destructive - After Forever
Figure.09 - Linkin Park
Mantis Lords - Christopher Larkin
Awakening - The Damning Well
"Liked songs" is pointless terminology for me. The only songs kept on my Jellyfin server are songs I like. My collection of music over my lifetime is 829 tracks total (some get deleted rarely). So this is what I got at the top when I pressed shuffle all. It's a fair reflection of my taste to be honest.
I go through infrequent periods of totally indiscriminate acquisition, and my library is insanely long but full of things that don't work for me. I love the idea of going in absolutely the opposite direction.
So this is just from the music loaded on my phone and not from my complete music library:
Under The Flesh, Into The Soul - Goatwhore
Brimstone - Whitechapel
10 Seconds From The End - Kataklysm
All Hail Science - Allegaeon
Wrong One To Fuck With - Dying Fetus
Agnostic Front - Gotta Go
The Haunted - Burnt to a Shell
Slayer - South of Heaven
Mastodon - The Sparrow
Sepultura - Refuse/Resist
Songs when you're feeling relaxed.
(I joke. I saw Sepultura live on that song's tour back in the 90s, and have seen Slayer and Mastodon. Good song list!) ~
Man, Mastodon have been on my to-see list for a long time. They're just never even remotely local.
Yes! I've always heard gardening is supposed to be relaxing.
Glorious taste.

What blows me away about this thread is how many artists and bands there are. I feel like I listen to tons of music from most genre yet I haven't heard of many artists mentioned.
