Some poor Indian teleworker is gonna be remotely fingering some dudes butthole through the Optimus as an AI watches and 'learns'. It's gonna happen if it hasn't already...
I don't think we're worth enough in data to make these cheap enough for any of us poors to afford. I mean, I suppose they could sell subscriptions to the video feed as voyeur entertainment.
I'm calling it right now, if these things ever come to market, they will be remote controlled by slaves in the third world, with a bowl of rice per day as their payment.
If you want Neo to do something complicated like clean the bathroom or vacuum, you’ll have to let a 1X employee wearing a VR headset remotely access the body (and cameras) to assist with training.
Careful. You wouldn’t would upset a huge bitch that has no friends when they have a 200kg robot with an internet connection in your house now, would you?
Ah yes, I would like to pay $30,000 to have a surveillance device in my home, connected to the public internet. Microphones, cameras, probably sonar, maybe lidar and radar, plus a half dozen different communication antennas, on a platform that can move around my home while I'm not there and interact with things, controlled by some underpaid, overworked contractor in India. Surely the cybersecurity will be perfect, and no one will ever breach the teleoperation system and use the surveillance device to spy on people or actively commit crimes.
Man a cleaning robot would be kinda neat, but realistically it would have too much potential to make a huge fucking mess. Like, a roomba that drives over dog poop can only mess up in a single dimension but a full-ass robot?! Just imagine the mess it would make literally every time it takes out the trash. Or if it mistakes a flower pot full of dirt for a dish that needs to go in the dishwasher.
I'm picturing one of these bipedal robots carrying a ripped, dripping garbage bag all the way through the house, hobbling along in that slow, wobbly gait they have, struggling with the doorknob for 5 minutes and eventually arriving at the sidewalk bin 20 minutes later to deposit a soggy mostly empty bag and then spending the rest of the day attempting to gather all the trash from the ground in this mysterious trail of garbage that leads from the sidewalk all the way back to the garbage can.
There's no way these things will be affordable for most tasks. It takes a million dollars to raise an American worker, but many people will quickly suffer and starve if they don't work for a small cleaning wage.
I wouldn't be quite so pessimistic! Many places, especially in Europe, have been making massive breakthroughs in consumer rights to repair and data privacy laws. If we keep big companies in check and pressure the government for further progress in those sectors, it might be possible for us to just kill rich people and take their robots without the robots tattling 💕
A million calculated how? I only ask because if it's just raw net worth, a little old lady who has lived in her house in Toronto since the 70s, could easily be a "millionaire" despite having never had anything more than a modest income.
Personally, I'd put the limit somewhere around $3 - $5 million. There's where you are really transitioning out from simply living a lifetime of middle class income and getting lucky with a couple investments.

Can you gape aluminum?

Just like Trump, that cunt has said a lot of shit over the years
Hey Optimus, yeet Musk in a volcano.
Why stop at just one pedo?
Sure, you just need to call the controller in India to let them know what to do.
The A.I. if you will
I want them to kill their masters.

I'd rather have it do everything I don't want.
Well the U in USB does stand for universal
The robot has a chance to do something really funny when it’s on stage with Elon and becomes self aware.
I doubt it will reach self awareness, considering Elon doesn't even have it.
The Indian kid operating it while it’s on stage has a chance to do something really funny
It's gonna be like all those failed Robocop prototypes from Robocop 2.
I have a feeling we would get the one that rips it's own head off or shoots itself despite hoping for the other one.

The real AI: Actually Indians
That's already a thing

Same model as Waymo, 1 operator for a dozen-ish remote devices.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE CYLINDER REMAINS UNHARMED!
to shreds you say?
Can they fuck off? 😂

I hope they've got a power cable that's at least mile long, then.
If it's built anything like a cybertruck about the best it's gonna do is burn the house down after it gets stuck on the living room rug.
Especially then
Destroy the US, Russian and Israeli government.
Daily reminder
I miss drawn Disney

But will the man inside the robot suit be ok with that?
he's in india
.... well yes but is he ok with it?
he's into it
So they can destroy capitalism? 🤔
Or kill musk?
Hard to do the first without the second.
You mean I could have a robot mop my kitchen in the nude?!
You can see all the circuits!
Who's ready to get up in that Nazi optimussy?
Seize the means of production.
How does one best seize bullshit?
KILL ALL HUMANS
Hey, sweet mama. Wanna kill all humans?
But I am le.tired
Well then take a nap
Start with anyone over 1 million. Yeah that's right, I said it. Millionaires can go

Can it give me estrogen?
Can they wipe out the rich nazis?
The optimussy upgrade is a subscription
It's equipped, but you gotta pay to unlock it. XD
Can it assemble an army of nanobots that will single mindedly attempt to convert Elon into paperclips?
Those hands look strong, can they choke stuff? Like people?
You know, to save the babies or whatever.
