When you're the most hated country in the world, so you'd need about 50 cars to protect your pedophile criminal leader.

Oh yeah, hiding super scared behind a massive wall of security because they made everyone hate them sure makes them look super strong. Instead it makes them look corrupt to a dystopian level.

10

maybe the 50 cars are there to shoo away any girls younger than 18 by the time the pedo arrives, just to be sure

.. all the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again

This has been the norm for high ranking US politicians for decades. About 10 years ago I attended a talk by former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard. She described how, as PM, she would regularly take walks along a river in Perth and talk with the folks she would encounter. She had a couple personal security guards who would be with her, but it was all very informal.

When Hillary Clinton visited as US Secretary of State she came with an escort of a dozen or so Secret Service in her entourage. On a whim Gillard suggested going for a walk like she usually did. The Secret Service freaked out that this hadn’t been planned weeks in advance, that the walking route hadn’t been scouted out ahead of time, that they didn’t have agents pre-positioned along the route, etc.

I recall that Gillard said they actually did go on a short walk, but the entire Secret Service entourage was very nervous the entire time.

Yea it's insane. We need to get back to the idea that anyone is replaceable. That's the safest they can be when people realizes any successful attempts wouldn't even matter.

Security industry is incestuous

knowing now that Trump signed the MoA (or somtehing to that effect) in Versailles, I can't help seeing the parallels of some other famous capitulations that were signed in/near Versailles :)

Am I the only one wondering why there is an ambulance in the motorcade?

1

President Trumap isn't your average person, he's leader of a superpower. That requires a certain level of security.

-3

Seriously. There's no value literally at all in protecting him in any way. This is... Insane. If he died the entire country would immediately improve.

Fingers crossed the big stroke or heart attack is coming soon! Fuck you, old man.

9

All of those cars and probably planes causing god knows how much pollution, just to get one of the world's most despised men to a meeting where he'll be too incompetent to have any effect.

Seriously, why do we even have ambassadors anymore?

Not even a drop in the bucket compared to the $300 billion being surrendered to Iran.

8

I disagree, the straight of Hormuze will be closed again if he renegs even on the 19 billion of their own money. They will close it again if any condition is not met. The US is out 300 billion and there is now a toll on the straight as well.

JOB WELL DONE MR PRESIDENT!

Apart from the French police in that convoy, how many are needed to wipe Trumps ass and change his nappies?

They literally drove through an ideal kill box with no air support… they clearly fired all of their competent security staff.

16

...with no air support...

You have no way of knowing that.

18

If this were a movie, some clueless garbage truck would have pulled out and blocked the road.

Did you know that the length of the column is inversely proportional to the length of... ah, nevermind

15

i thought that was the angle of the dangle being inversely proportional to the heat of the beat?

4

My thoughts, too. The motorcade was designed to protect against attackers with guns, IEDs or an RPG, but 2 autonomous drones would be enough to make that entire circus useless now. Especially with how distinct the Beasts look.

3

Man, there's a throwback. This is the first time I've seen that game referenced in the wild lol

3

Hey where’s the Beast? Oh right in the middle of a bunch of potential roadblocks to form a kill box. Missed opportunity

8

When Trump came to my city they shut down all the major roads (interstates, highways) for hours. The whole city was in gridlock. Nobody went anywhere that day. Helicopters were circling overhead. It was a massive headache.

Versailles, too bad it wasn't the orange pedo's Louis the XVI moment

How much of that applies here since they are overseas?

1

If I had to guess, the motorcade is always the same. They also transport all of their own vehicles anywhere in the world and never rely on any other security forces.

1

Simple physics. Obviously they will not jam the frequencies they use. Which frequencies they use is classified and will most likely change constantly.
