What other archive sites are there?
I have been having issues with archive.today (or archive.is) and I saw a post that the site is now caught up with that QR code crap from Google and I want to know what other archive sites I can use? I mainly use them to read articles that have a paywall and also share the link with others.

The Wayback Machine from the Internet Archive is probably the oldest and most popular. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any other alternatives
I had issues in the past with The Wayback Machine. Either never came up or me or its slow. Maybe I just need to mess around with my VPN? I'll try them again. Thanks.
They were being hit with a DDoS attack a couple of years ago. Not sure if they've had to deal with that lately.
Arichive.today, Archive.ph and many other instances - .is etc.
Ghost archive
These sites started blocking certain ips.
Switch your vpn to russia via secure core. Sucks. But it works.
Had issues with Ghost archive, but I guess I'll try them again. Thanks.
The issue is IP blocking…kinda similar to like half the comments I try to post here on Lemmy being blocked.
Just can’t be bothered to get on a better instance
Funny enough, when I tried to post this reply it was blocked. Switched to Denmark and it worked np.
YMMV
I've not yet seen a QR code there, but I suppose it's coming. Someone posted an archiver suspiciously not removed by R***it mods but that it wasn't moderated away by billionaire and tyrant klepto ass-kissers restrains my use.
what qr code are people talking about? i must be out of the loop.
Google's new captcha requires scanning a qr code and doesn't even work across all devices/OS's.
Guess I'm a robot
It doesnt require it yet. Its an option though.
I saw a post on the privacy community that someone encountered that mobile QR code that Google is demanding you scan. I'm not scanning a sketchy QR code from Google. Just another way for users to be further entrenched in their services.
