How does he still have any assets at all? He would only be allowed enough to eat gruel for the rest of his life.

Texas law allows him to keep certain assets like his home and car.

26
feddit.org

Still grifting supplements and gold.

Beyond that: He tries to appeal every lawsuit, drawing out the process, meanwhile he moves his assets to where they are out of reach of the law, probably still hoping that Trump will pardon help him one day. Poor guy, it's not going to happen.

A lot of the conspiracy podcast bros that thought the Clinton's ran an underground pedophiles ring in some random pizza shop are really fuckin quiet about the epstein files. They sound like a church mouse in a fuckin library.

112

considering it was related to the epstein files, they were projecting. more than likely the conspiracy started with krompomat from RU, since they wouldve had evidence from epstein by that time in '16.

Oh, really? That's peculiar. Got any examples?

Reminds me of various lefty anarchist activists who did not partake of a "leftlockdownsceptics" perspective (the eponymous website since renamed "therealleft"), and insisted on obedience, showing their true colours.

Yes, you and your poor attempt to steer the conversation from the Epstein files.

…The OP?

I don’t know a thing about that, but “lefty lockdown skeptics” sound like nuts too, so IDK where you’re going with that.

16

I think they are accusing anarchists who supported the lockdown as being hypocritical, seemingly taking the perspective that anarchism is purely about pathological resistance to government authority without nuance or consideration.

I can't be 100% sure as it's the comment is not far off being a word salad.

Are you basically trying to explain that only Alex Jones made pedo ring pizza gate claims.....? Why? The records are public. We all got better stuff to do. Get with some normal brain wave and ride that for a while and forget about the snowflake crusade. It's already won. They weren't pussies, but the old hyper capitalist autocracy fools were frailer than we ever experienced before publicly as humans ever. It was projection. We have already settled the matter and are moving on with that fact in the back pocket. It cannot be helped because now it's already settled. It's the arch-fools errands of fool's errands to debate that idiotic claim.

No.

I do not comprehend how you could have possibly picked up that interpretation.

Was not saying anything about that at all.

I merely asked for some of the examples of the many asserted to have fallen quiet about Epstein since pointing out such stuff.

I do not know how you managed to fit so much else to read between the lines. I didn't put anything between the lines.

The records are public. We all got better stuff to do.

o_O

But you could write a fat paragraph faster than drop a couple names or so?

Does not bode well for credulity and credibility. idk why the greater burden's being put on me to search for something I don't have the search terms for, when others supposedly have the names...

-1

Can't I be both?

Logic, innit.

[Edit: Oh wait... do you mean "libertarian" in the American skewed meaning?]

Why are you asking something like that then denying it then asking again

Between 2012 and 2014, me and my skeptic friends made a joke conspiracy theory, that claims conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones are paid agents by an actual conspiracy to make conspiracy theories look bad, so they won't be found out, or at least the wrong target will be hated by the masses. I'm more and more sure, that it might been something real.

76

There are a few pentagon-employed UFO disinfo agents who were either identified or simply admitted it. The drama definitely wouldn’t have ended there.

15

I'm pretty sure corporate conglomerates and intelligence agencies fund or otherwise aid conspiracy nuts in order to construct cover for real conspiracies.

12

That's pretty much what AJ & Co. say every time someone on their side behaves so ridiculously that even they cannot rally behind them.

3

made

Made?

Easily derived. So easy, isn't it self evident?

joke

Joke?

It's not funny... We are in a lot of trouble.

But I guess it's true what they say... the difference between comedy and tragedy is distance. Maybe I've just been too close to world issues too long.

The conspiracy reason is he's owned by biggly now so he can't go agaisnt trump

50
Rothereply
piefed.social

Why would he go against Trump? He has no reason to want to lose his core audience of Trump cultists.

30

It's more that he couldn't if he wanted to but it's also a conspiracy about alex jones so it doesn't need to make any sense

3

If he was smart he would see trump isn't going to be around forever and once he's gone he has a whole slew of obviously fake principles he betrayed. I mean, he is currently pretending trump being a pedophile isn't obviously true and he's making every excuse for trump no matter what happens. That's a short sighted strategy imo

1

Well yeah, it's always like that I think, someone probably complained about it in cuneiform or hieroglyphs.

A large percentage of any generation is going to put the mortgage and horse/camel/SUV first. There's no character there. Generations are characterized by the noisy flashy people and stereotypes, not the 'normies', and there are a lot of genX sarcastic half motivated folks floating around still. The ones without mortgages in particular.

I've been keeping up to date wrt AJ only because of those 2 guys. The analyses are always precise yet entertaining.

They also make the point made by OOP in every episode. It was never about freedom or speaking truth to power. It was always about hating on others.

7

The is latest episode is a hoot. I’ve always appreciated the way the Dan brings it back over and over again to how AJ has turned his back on everything that made him who he was.

Listening over time has really showed me how mutable the beliefs of his ilk can be. How utterly self-serving every claim.

8

Better justice would be him disappearing from all platforms never to make money with his likeness again.

He was just a normal somewhat amusing crazy person before the right wing audience capture turned him into a monster. Waking Life was made at a very different time in Austin.

16

I would say it was more that Alex Jones helped further enmonsterify the right wing than it was they changed him.

12
feddit.org

I disagree. He's been honing this for over 3 decades. He started talking shit in the 90s. Only his targets have changed somewhat, but his hatemongering remained the same (if somewhat invalidated now that his guy is in power).

AFAIR his father is also of questionable convictions? the KnowledgeFight guys bring that up sometimes.

7

Completely agree, It was always a grift to him. Even if he said stuff that resonated with a leftist audience one time doesn't actually mean it is the true him. The true him is whatever political drivel makes him the most money and that is always the right wing.

Weirdly, the first time I heard of Jones was in a Bill Hicks story about the Waco massacre in the nineties. I didn't look into him much, but I think he started out being fairly genuine, but realised there was more money in grifting idiots. Nowadays he's just a fucking looney.
