What companies/projects are anti AI, so we can support them?
There really should be list somewhere, so all these greedy idiotic companies pushing slop on us can flounder in their losses when the bubble pops.
ESPECIALLY any media-related company that is using AI now to push slop, they can NEVER be trusted again no matter what (ie, spotify)
Id like a list so I can donate/support any anti-AI projects/companies.

A lot of indie animation, game studios, and independent artists are anti-AI.

Many gamers on Youtube play Indie games too, tho you'd have to look for them as they play AAA games as well: https://www.youtube.com/@markiplier https://www.youtube.com/@jacksepticeye https://www.youtube.com/@theRadBrad

The movie Flow is an indie film that blew up in the box office because the director proved to people that it's possible to make a movie using a non-industry standard 3D modeling software (Blender).

Check out (writer) Juan Díaz Canales and (illustrator) Juanjo Guarnido's works. They made the comic Blacksad. https://readallcomics.com/blacksad-vol-1-somewhere-withing-the-shadows/
WLOP's paintings and comics might be your taste. His art may look like AI, but it's not. He just that good with drawing/painting: https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/ghostblade/list?title_no=12229
Waterfox (a Firefox fork) published a post about Firefox's move to AI titled "No AI* Here - A Response to Mozilla's Next Chapter"
Nothing specific but I imagine all the local shops like farmers-markets and thrift stores aren't terribly reliant on it. (Yet...)
Although I prefer NetBSD's stricter ban on AI code over GNOME's, it's better than nothing on GNOME's side.
Also, I hand-drew my pfp unlike one other commenter in here, and the original is pinned on my IRL wall right now, so that should hint at how I personally feel about AI.
Update:
Waterfox also made an official stand against AI a bit after LibreWolf did.
I don't know about companies, but there are still people out there that write content and share it online without using any slop. And I'm pretty sure they would not mind if more people would take the time to stop by, to read their content (blog or whatever) and maybe to say hi. And this would not cost anyone a cent.
Edit: clarification.
This is why ive been sharing the smallweb with more and more people !
100% this :)
I’ll be so happy to never hear the word slop again
FOSS obviously, why is this a question ? Just support KDE (or Gnome if you like that)
If you're after direct hate on AI, you're swimming upstream, it's propping up the government of the largest economy in the world. Just wait, it's unsustainable.
Yep, foss was the first thing I did think of!
Classic literature
While myself and my producer use AI, we disclose our AI use, so those who don't care for AI can do it themselves, give it to us, and we could replace the AI genned stuff with the human-made stuff (of course, properly credited for the volunteer work).
My producer, Neigsendoig, was always willing to let people draw out exactly what he generates.
In particular, CoculesNation and Cocules Reddit Readings have AI-generated photos we generate and use ourselves in some thumbnails.
Is this comment ai
No, it's fully human. I'm an author (I actually did a FediWriMo last month, in fact), and this is just how I write, no matter how long the responses are.
I guess you could tell my PFP is AI-generated, of which it is (It's indeed mentioned in my bio).
