That’s because it’s legit! It’s here therefore it’s real! It’s real because it’s here!

Basic tautology dude!

Back in 2565 BC cameras weren't that advanced like they are today. Due to the long exposure time these people had to stand still for several hours in order to avoid too much blurriness of the photo. You can see that the people in the background (middle left in the photo) were moving slightly as the photo is a bit blurrier compared to the foreground.

I am pretty sure that Andrew Tate once said that it is gay not to accept blow jobs by other men but it is gay to give one...

Only insecure conservative men care about wearing a skirt or not having facial hair.

I guess the pyramids were build by democrats and liberals then.

Also i assumed this would clearly go down as a joke but i am not sure now

People calling this picture fake, but it's obviously real because how else could this picture exist???

This is obviously fake 🙄. The pyramids were built by aliens

No they were built by human slave labor to be landing pads for alien space ships.

What’s going on in the bottom left corner there? O.o

Thats the designated fluffer all construction sites must have. Thank god for the union.

Ahh yes, back when humans hadn't created the eyedrops that allowed us to see color, everything was sepia.

This photo is a fake. I have calculated the math here. There are around 18 men lifting a block here. Each block in Giza pyramid weigh around 2.5 tonnes. An average man can lift around 50 KGS. When you put in the numbers, 18 men can lift only 900 KGS. So obvious fakery.

Actually, 2500/18 is only 139kg. That's a lot, but it's less than what some people do today

edit for those taking this serious: that block is way heavier than 2.5 tonne. Sandstone has a density of about 2.323 tonne/m3. This block looks about 8 meters long, so 8x8x8x2.323=1.187 kilotonnes

But regular workers back then didn't understand what those weight numbers/hieroglyphs meant, so they just picked it up unaware it's way too heavy to do so.

The photographer was giggling at them & about to explain how heavy the blocks are - but doing so a lot of workers would be immediately pancaked.

Kids these days are just so lazy, back then the average man could lift way more weight

9

Only those who could lift more than average survived for the photo, obviously.

I'm curious, would it physically be possible for this amount of people to hold up such a weight? Assuming it is perfectly straight and lifted onto their hands with a crane? I'm thinking of the eggs that can hold much more weight when it's distributed through a flat surface on top of the eggs.

The pyramids are made of granite. It has a density/weight of approximately 165 lb/cubic ft. As in, a 1x1x1 block weighs about 165 lbs. This block, assuming the standard person in this picture is about 5 ft (people have been getting taller over time) this block is maybe 20 ft cubed. Just an eyeball guess. That would put it at about 1,320,000 lbs.

The picture has 6 people deep carrying the first stone with what looks like maybe 4 people across? Hard to tell. But going off 6x4 people, that would mean that each person would have to carry 55,000 lbs each.

Would it be possible? I will let you guess from that. Next question, how many eggs to support it? After some google searches the textbook theoretical best an egg can support is some 300 lbs, but in practice is closer to 120-130 with support/positioning in place (think egg cartons holding them vs just on the ground). This would mean our 1,320,000 lb stone would take between 10,000 to 11,000 eggs to support it.

How long would it take to get that many eggs??? Good question. Chicken normally lay about an egg a day. So 10,000 chicken take 1 day, or 1 chicken would take about 10,000 days. But what is a realistic amount? Well, let me tell you. In the rabbit hole I found myself in of jokingly replying to this, I found an entire dissertation on "THE EXPLOITATION OF LIVE AVIAN RESOURCES IN PHARAONIC EGYPT: A SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDY" BY ROZENN F. BAILLEUL-LESUER (JUNE 2016)

Captivating. Would recommend rabbiting down that hole. And on page 299 we can see that a Pharoah size flock would be about 2,000 Eurasia cranes or geese. So it would take us about a week to put that block in the picture on a bunch of eggs.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

No, each person would need to carry a couple of tons

It wasn't a problem back then when humans had more than 5 points of power level 😒😒😒

Imagine one person holding up a pillar of stone, the base area of the person's width, and higher then one man. So maybe 50cm X 50cm X 300cm of solid stone. That's more than double the weight of the person itself, probably more than 5 times.

Thanks! Yeah I thought so, it must be just not enough people even if it could work in principle

this picture is clearly photoshopped some pixels are smuged

The moon is made of cheese. Are these blocks from the moon? They are, aren't they. Wow! The Egyptians took giant blocks of cheese from the moon and made pyramids!
