I think that that's what's necessary to happen for more people to join to be honest. But one thing I'm experiencing and noticing a lot, is as soon as a redditor sees that it's 'conservative ' in any form or fashion, they go on to bitch about that and say they don't want to be a part of any kind of community that supports conservative beliefs and so forth.

Because we are insert every ideological stereotype.

When they say that, it literally says that they are closed-minded are not interested in ideas other then their own. My example for this, is you and I are both conservative, we both use (or used) Reddit shit I still do you know that. Reddit is extremely leftist, but I avoid the politics of it all and only participate in the stuff that I enjoy in.

They don't want to deal with having to navigate that (which most people like me have to do with reddit), They don't want that 'inconvenience' they want a cookie cutter alternative that agrees with everything they say straight out the box. And it better dam be sure block the fuck out of everyone and anything they don't like.

People who react that way that I just described, are immature and want to be 100% sure that there will be absolutely zero backlash against them from the other side. Basically they want to make sure that they don't get called out on their bullshit .

Most of them don't even want to see a conservative post. That's enough right there for them to not want any part of it. All that makes me think is, how are you supposed to satisfy somebody like that?

Sorry this is long and I'm really not trying to be negative I'm coming out this angle because I made an alternative it's nothing big or a big deal, and after posting it on Reddit and stuff I mean I did get some good ideas and feedback and thoughts from people but I would say the majority, was people complaining about how since my alternative allows everybody to say what they want that I'm just going to foster a hateful community.

When the point of being able to say whatever the fuck you want without getting banned, is that now you're going to be held accountable for what you say by other users. And in my opinion they don't want that, they just want an Eco chamber where everyone agrees with them so they can talk shit about everything they don't like and lump everybody into one category and be hypocrites and have a huge giant circle jerk

I definitely love to help if there is anything I can do want more people to join and have fun too. Like yeah I'm not a leftist dude but I mean we can still talk shit have fun together I don't see why everything has to just be shitty you know

Okay so I'm not just a raging asshole online lol. But some people say some really stupid dumb shit to where you just have to call them out.

And the way the terms of service I'm seeing on these Reddit alternatives, are basically the same as reddit. Which is create a safe space for people and you're not allowed to call names and so forth. I'm so honestly fucking sick of that bullshit.

I just don't get it, there's fucking assholes in real life or people who challenge your opinion what are you doing those situations? You just run around and try to find a report button? Why can't I say what I want to online anymore?

New here, came from reddit. I was on tildes but they ended up banning me for a post asking what the community thinks of other alternatives.

Which leads me to my question, what is and what is not allowed on Spyke?
