Okay so I'm not just a raging asshole online lol. But some people say some really stupid dumb shit to where you just have to call them out.

And the way the terms of service I'm seeing on these Reddit alternatives, are basically the same as reddit. Which is create a safe space for people and you're not allowed to call names and so forth. I'm so honestly fucking sick of that bullshit.

I just don't get it, there's fucking assholes in real life or people who challenge your opinion what are you doing those situations? You just run around and try to find a report button? Why can't I say what I want to online anymore?

You shouldn’t want to be an asshole full stop? This feels like the same energy that those prank assholes from recent news stories bring, stealing trains, acting like they’re robbing people at ATMs and throwing brooms in deep fryers.

People just want to live their lives, if you derive pleasure from antagonizing people that’s a problem with you, not others.

But, we can be whatever we want to be if we believe in ourselves

The problem is always who is stopping you saying something and why. Generally you'll have half the people reading a comment to agree with you and half disagree. So I err on just allowing it and I'll block users etc if I don't want to see them. Then it's a personal choice.

Honestly, is there even a point? At the end of the day you are not changing the posters opinion and neither are they changing yours. Why dwell in unecessary conflict instead of just letting bygons by bygons and move on.

As long as you are not being racist, homophobic and such i really don't see anything wrong in calling someone a moron. You can still be respectful in a way even when telling someone to fuck off lol

Exactly. This is something we at Spyke totally support. Respecting others doesn't mean not telling them the truth.

You can always tell someone respectfully to fuck off.

I wonder what this will look like in real life. You can say whatever you want, but there are consequences
