Interestingly enough, they keep raising the age limit to collect the full amount because apparently people are "living longer" but the crazy part is that almost half the people I grew up with didn't even make it to 50 years old. Now add that into all the people who expire due to natural disasters, the opioid epidemic and other diseases and let the math sink in.

Difficult as this may be to digest, there is absolutely nothing here on planet Earth that would be of any interest to any species with sufficient technology to travel long distances through space, especially when one considers our remote location at the end of a distant spiral arm orbiting a smaller-than-average star in an unremarkable galaxy.

Imagine you have 3 apples in a box.

Remove one apple from the box, how many remain in the box?

Two. Simple. Right?

Remove one more. One remains.

What if you remove the last apple from the box.

How many apples remain in the box?

Well, it should be zero apples right?

Well the answer is not that straightforward.

Think about it.

Just smell the box.

Does it still smell like apples?

Ofcourse.

The scent of apples remains in the box.

Well, that means that there's still a TRACE of apple remaining in the box. This contradicts the fact that the number of apples in the box remaining is absolute zero.

Infact if you think about it, it can never truly be absolute zero. There's always going to be a trace of apples remaining in the box no matter how careful we are at handling them.

I was once working in a bar in Arizona & a young couple came up to the bar who had dwarfism & on talking to them i learnt they were with the travelling circus and a happily married young couple. I noticed that the young lady was pregnant and asked in idle chat what was she hoping for as in a boy or a girl, to which the young lady replied, we're not fussy as long as it fits in a cannon 😭

we were close in elementary but by middle school she isolated herself with the internet and online friends, while I don't blame her because of pandemic, it still hurt seeing her pick them over her friends that had been there since she was young. Last time I saw her was at our graduation, would've never guessed she moved cities and didn't tell us at all

Imo evil is a religious concept if you ask me. Think exorcisms. Mental illness, anti-socialization, and environmental manipulation explain every category of crime known to man since human society created the notion of crime and punishment itself.

It's interesting why people are only addicted to the things that are temporary and never will change your life for the better but instead people rarely get addicted to lets say eating healthy or working out or addicted to success
