20 and don't know how to enjoy life anymore — is that normal?
As someone who knows gambling addicts, that's not a good pattern, and the bad moods get worse when luck turns against them, and get inflicted on people around them.
Do something with other people that's less transactional: A group activity where you're playing or working together. Volunteering, games, sports, hiking, whatever.
At 20, you should be out there finding your tribe to hang out with in person and support each other.
You'll need it then, and it'll be the base for even more mutual assistance in the decades to come.

Anthropic tells San Francisco staff to work from home due to possible security team strike
Reply in thread
They probably asked Claude whether there was going to be a security strike today Monday and tomorrow Tuesday.
The union said it had not called a strike authorization vote or issued any strike threats for this week.

Not boring hobby recommendations?
If you live in a city with a parks and recreation department, check out their website for classes and activities.
If it's a sport that requires equipment, such as racquets or bats, loaners are usually available from the department or other participants.
You really won't know what your mind and your body enjoys until you actually try it, so just YOLO random activities, but keep it safe of course. Avoid stuff like highrise roof edge parkour, and you'll be okay.

Widespread Lithium Found in Drinking Water Across Communities in Western U.S.
Reply in thread
It would be interesting to study whether higher environmental lithium exposure resulted in reduced numbers of bipolar cases, or reduced severity of bipolar disorder, if that can be measured, or even study of people who moved away from the affected areas having increased risks of bipolar disorder later in life.

Also, I hate to say this, but you will likely enjoy something that one of your parents enjoys.
Obviously stay away from genetically disposed addictions like heavy drinking or gambling, but doing the positive hobbies that one or both of your parents enjoy can let you interact with and understand your parents, which is a good thing now and later in life.

More specifically the lyrics from the first verse:
[Verse 1]
Grab your coat, grab your hat, baby
Leave your worries on the doorstep
Just direct your feet
On the sunny side of the street
[Verse 2]
Can't you hear that pitter-pat
The happy tune is your step
Life can be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street
[Bridge]
I used to walk in the shade
With those blues on parade, oh
But I'm not afraid, baby
My rover crossed over, yes
[Verse 3]
If I never have a cent
I'll be rich as Rockefeller, yes
Gold dust at my feet
On the sunny side of the street

Guys I downloaded the real LEAKED version of GTA 6 wish me luck!
Be careful.
While some video and statements have indicated that CyberLeek has a playable copy of the game, there are no reports that it has actually been leaked yet.
Random downloads with keywords in the names are likely assholes (botnets, ransomware, spyware) seeking to spread their malware to take advantage of GTA fans.

If you were an NPC in a game and only had one line of dialogue, what would it be?

Oh now you have me worrying whether game devs are going to start disabling gender switching after character creation.

Those videos do look really exciting, but they almost never show that last attempt. That kind of video gets banned.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - Toothbrush and My Table [2005]
I'm shamelessly stealing from the playlist at All Your Old Records, a terrific weekly show on KPFA
I guessed that this song is a lot older than it is.

F1 viewership has plunged since move from ESPN to Apple TV
ESPN, yeah I can see there's a cross section of sports fans who might be interested in F1, and vice versa F1 fans who wouldn't mind watching other sports.
But Apple TV? What kind of people subscribe to that? Probably not F1 fans.

Target Halloween Costume
The subject of an outrage and withdrawal of the costume. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/aug/24/target-apology-halloween-costume-backlash
Instagram link to an organization post about the costume and the racist caricature that it resembles.

Somehow, they managed to top it all off by putting it on a black kid model.

FDA clears blood test to aid evaluation for Alzheimer's disease
Reply in thread
There has been no correlation between amyloid and AD since 2008. The rest was all faked.
That's a huge exaggeration of what the article you linked to says https://www.science.org/content/blog-post/faked-beta-amyloid-data-what-does-it-mean
The faked line of research was regarding Lesne's line of papers on a specific amyloid beta protein configuration AB*56
Proteins can be folded in any number of shapes, any of which can have different effects.
The OP's article states:
The blood test uses high-resolution mass spectrometry to measure the ratio of levels of amyloid (Aβ42 and 40) and two forms of tau protein (p-tau217 and total tau217) in the blood. These biomarkers are associated with amyloid pathology, a characteristic feature of Alzheimer’s disease.
As a layman, I see there's a difference between AB 42/40 and AB 56
