We aren't particularly interested in trying to convince anyone to be carnivore. What you eat is entirely your decision. I wish you vegans would be the same way.

I personally avoid American meat, but you have to do the best you can, and if all you are able to have is that it's still far better than a standard diet, in my experience.

The general recommendation for zero carb is ruminant meat. I don't think we are eating apex predators all that often although I've had alligator meat before. I did not particularly enjoy it, not enough fat for my liking.

That was certainly my first step to improving my metabolic health. I can also recommend wearing a continuous glucose monitor.

Which is funny, if you think about it. If that were true all the detractors would have to do is wait since carnivores won't be able to sustain the diet. The issue would be self resolving. I don't supplement at all, and should be dead from scurvy 6 times over or so if those people are to be believed.
There is indeed, however, a certain diet with a very high rate of recidivism. That's all I'm saying on the topic.

We are privileged, people around me think nothing of eating fast food as long as it isn't done too often. It's certainly regarded as food.

Besmirching the character of participants in a discussion is not acceptable behaviour in this community. Here we try to read the data and give poeple the benefit of the doubt.
This is a formal warning.
Are you able to access the ones cited that reaffirm your beliefs?
That's not relevant to the discussion at hand, which I remind you is about the effects of fibre on the human diet. See rule 2.

Again, this isn't good faith discussion. Your warning stands.
The amount of money pumped in to provide P hacked results is substantial and one has to consider the source when evaluating what's being said.
Ah, we agree on something.

I have read the article and resent the implication of your comment. Please see rule 1. As a moderator of two communities yourself I expected better conduct from you :)
Here is, however, a good faith response:
The paper cites two textbooks in nutrition for this quote, both of which are unavailable to me. If you have indeed read these sources, I invite you to cite them here in full so we may discuss them. The introduction of a paper containing no studies about fibre is not a primary source of information about fibre, and is not generally considered adequate scientific evidence for a claim. "Undoubtible" is not a scientific term. The same statement applies to the conclusion of a scientific paper, which is generally the author's opinion.
For your future reference, c/carnivore is a community for the discussion of metabolic health and its related topics. We insist that you cite primary sources because systemic lack of rigour is how "nutrition science" is such a mess in the first place. If you do cite sources, please make sure to have read the papers beforehand. We'd also greatly prefer that you don't cite epidemiology. If you do cite epidemiology, please keep in mind Bradford Hill.
Lastly, you may be interested in some literature on fibre.

What do you do when the facts don't match your beliefs?
Cite a wall of epidemiology.

Carnivore is the fastest, easiest, laziest way to eat
Reply in thread
I used to cook and bake, and greatly enjoyed making complex recipes. But without my health none of that was enjoyable, so I'm happy to give most of it up. I still use spices for seasoning sometimes (yes, I know, I have to turn in my carnivore card) and I'll eat/drink in social situations to be polite.
Zero-carb isn't about being a zealot or perfect adherence, it's just a way of being as healthy as you can be.

I'm assuming you're referring to the stochastic/temporal lighting stuff that's used for global illumination etc. It can all be turned off, Unreal games don't necessarily need to have an unstable image.
