Happy pride month!

How about we just force them to have gay sex? About half of them will hate us and want everyone on their political left to die, so no changes there. And the other half, you know.

I mean, whats the worst that could happen that literally isn't happening already. I can tell you with full confidence that would sway more conservatives than Newsom promising tax cuts for small business owners.

[NSFW:Death] Video footage of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson getting shot from behind

Reply in thread

I don't want to sound bloodthirsty, but I was always really confused why this wasn't happening regularly, at least in the States. Those people, the CEOs, are the faces of corporations that fucked many people over. With the amount of the violent gun crimes in USA you would think those CEOs would be targets of disgruntled gun owners all the time instead of next to never.

At the risk of sounding a bit more bloodthirsty, since the current capital class is basicially free of consequences for their opression of the working class due to incredibly corrupt justice system, those things should be a natural outcome of the working class frustration. Especially accounting for absurd access to deadly and easy to use guns. Nature is healing.

People need to remember this.

While true and valid, also remember that your community can be a problem, or you might be suffering from systemic issues. Not all issues stem from individuals, and some are impossible to solve on the personal level. If you find yourself in the cult, for example, walking away is probably the best you could do, despite the scorn of the community.

Yeah sure "murder hornets". Like "murder japs", "murder communists", "murder vietnamese", "murder gays", "murder blacks" or "murder arabs" before. I think I'll hold off celebrating until I know how much oil those hornets had in stock.

Either ya understand why most women pick the 🐻 or you are the 🐻.

IMO you're missing the point. It's less about whenever women are "right" to be afraid of men in general, and more about what their feelings on the matter actually are. If a lot of women would prefer to meet a bear rather than a stranger in a forest, then that's because of their deep distrust of men. It's not about whenever men are actually trustworthy and women are overreacting (though a lot of the responses are indicative that they're not), but rather about what led to this distrust, and also about how unaware of the issue men are in general. Quick googling shows stats like 1 in 5/6 women was or will be a victim of rape, 1 in 3 of them as a child, 81% in general had been sexually harassed or assaulted. It's not that many women just "hear stories of assault and rape and whatever", many women are victims, and almost all know a victim personally.

Now, did you know that? Do you know a person who's rape/SA/SH victim? Are you aware that's actually a broad problem and not just some abstract culture of fear? Because I think this whole thing with a bear vs man in a forest shows mostly the difference between men and women when it comes to understanding this topic. I see it not as a "are men bad" question, but rather "is sexual violence common", because you sure might be a righteous fella and most of your friends might be as well, but no women that know you can be sure you're not the guy who's keeping those stats up. It doesn't take a majority of men to cause this fear, but it will take a majority of them to fix it, and understanding that there is a problem is at the very least the first step.

Imagine if his motivation was to prove he had great aim and that they did him wrong. Maybe he just wanted to become the most well known sniper-assassin in the modern world. Maybe that's the reason he didn't use scope, he wanted his memory to be that of the rifle maverick. I wonder what went through his head after he realised he missed. I mean, other than a bullet.

It's Only One Vote

I'm proud I didn't vote Blue in 2016 and 2020. I'm not from the USA so it would be a voter fraud if I did.

That being said, dems are completely incompetent when it comes to elections, deliberately picking such terrible candidates like Hillary and Biden. I don't believe there are actual people that voted Blue because of seeded candidate and not despite it.

That's not an argument against removing billionaires though, right? You'd rather want to stop the spread of cancer instead of bemoaning the fact that we got sick at all. The best we can do is reposes their frivolously purchased assets and recycle them as much as it's reasonable, and cast away what remains. It's not all yachts, some of that wealth is locked in empty flats/houses, and giving those back to community would be very beneficial without needing to transform those assets further.

Anon has a dream

I once got up sitting and started to touch mine and my girlfriends ankles. The reason I apparently gave, highly distressed, was "The Orcs, they're coming. I need more skeletons. Give me your bones." and returned to sleep after she told me to sleep. I also once held my cat at the finger-gun and proclaimed it was a doppleganger and it was trying to rob us, after which I pleaded stupidity and fell asleep again.

That was a joke about USA assigning threatening labels to anything it threatens or exploits to make public afraid of it instead of being supportive of it. As most jokes, it based on the subversion of expectations, which in this case was the suggestion that hornets are good and misunderstood. Comparing them and what they're doing to bees to gay or black people was intended as a sprinkle of dark humor, implying their (hornets!) destructive nature finds parrarels with the multitude of oppressed kinds of people.

Way to tell me I'm unfunny and my sense of humor sucks, man (jk)
