Ethan and Hila Klein have been youtubers for a long time. They met in Israel when Ethan was there for a birthright trip. Hila has served in the IDF even up to voluntarily participating in an illegal raid in Ramallah. Over the years they've made a name for themselves through goofing about pedophilia and harassing other creators.
They gained a lot of goodwill when they won a landmark lawsuit against Matt Hoss that helped protect free speech in the Youtube creator world only for Ethan to turn around and use litigation to try to take down smaller, pro-Palestine creators.
A few years ago, Hasan Piker and Ethan Klein created a show together called Leftovers. It was a political based show where Hasan as the leftist tried educating Ethan, a self-proclaimed capitalist, on different topics. Then Oct 7th happened and Ethan lost his goddamn mind. The podcast fell apart because Hasan is very pro-Palestine and Ethan leaned into supporting Israel.
Ethan became obsessed with Hasan Piker. He posted about Hasan over 300 times on his Instagram stories alone in 2025. Ethan created a video called the "Content Nuke" that was a hit piece on Hasan that was supposed to bring him down. It was laughable. It cemented Ethan's Islamophobia to a much wider audience.
Hasan's popularity has only risen while Ethan's has been on the decline.
There's so, so much more.
Well, now karma has come around and Ethan's downfall is truly cemented. He's toast. And it is well deserved.
Important context: due to being completely unable to pin anything bad on Hasan, Kleins started suing smaller creators that reacted to the drama videos they created for copyright infringement reasons, and have been openly attempting to weaponize law to silence and censor anyone speaking out agains them, or speaking in favour of Hasan. Both worked hard to undermine number of pro-palestine creators for the fact of being anti-zionist and got them constantly harrased and in some cases banned from the platforms they used to post content. Both are completely despicable, just wanted to point out that in their attemp to attack Hasan they more than welcomed collateral damage and are willing to destroy lives of anyone who would oppose them. Just like their idolized nation of Israel. If they kept their aggresion to Hasan alone, I'd just call thrm wrong, with their sick intent to silence anyone who supports Palestine with lawfare and harrasment, both belong in jail.
