My view from home, Norway

Reply in thread

Actually, not "a lot" in Norwegian measures: 3.5 million NOK (+/- 351 680 USD). This is because a lot of homes/cities in Norway are located in a slight hill or at the foot of a mountain, so there is a pretty good chance of getting some kind of view. The thing I like about my current view is the different layers with green trees, water and mountains with stone and snow. The city center is 15 minutes by car, and my work is 5 minutes by car. Behind the house (behind the photographer) the landscape slowly moves upward in a slight incline, with houses and schools. Mine is at the bottom by the water.

Is anyone else missing the feeling of being in the moment and enjoying the thing you are doing?

Cool to hear, and that's one of the things I have been starting doing myself. I have always been taking walks in the forest and mountains in and around my town (living in Norway so evening walks on a little mountain is quite common). The thing is that I all my life have been doing these walks with music in my ears and phone in my pocket. In the recent times I have just gone out by my self just like you describe, even without a phone, which really makes the experience something else.
