Tesla door handle technically could work without electricity, because when you press one end in (risking to break your finger), the other end pops out and you can drag it. This is slightly inconvenient, but as I understand, the most problems were linked to dicks-for-hands engineers designing the car the way where doors can stay locked in case of an accident. So handle or not, you can't open the door and let a person out of a burning car.

What's something cool you've made?
I've made an android app for splitting expenses. I was so frustrated when I was in charge of the excel sheet with my friends geoup New Year"s trip expenses, that I started working on it and I pushed it in production in the end of July. Which is especially great because I have a sizeable graveyard of things that I was burning for and then completely abandoned.
It's called WEREVEN, it's free, has no ads (maybe I will monetize it in the future, but I don't want to annoy 20 people who use it), and I don't collect your personal data.

One of my bucket list things is to try a food item, listen to an album and read a book from every country in the world. Any recommendations?
Russia: Eat Beef Stroganoff+buckwheat+chanterelles, read "Master and Margaret", listen to "Целлулоид" (Celluloid) album by Tequilajazz.

There was a great South Park episode about the term "removed" getting a new officially accepted meaning of "a loud annoying biker", so that you could distinguish annoying loud bikers farting around on their harleys, and nice gay people.

Even if it's just 10-15, Zomboid, Oxygen Not Included, Factorio, Isaac, and Risk of Rain, are thousands of possible fun hours, even without rotation

Consequences for hit-and-run on a snowman
Even in case of a "usual" snowman, you can easily crack plastic bodyparts or dent metal ones. This is not GTA, where you just have to remember which items are breakable and which are not

If you want to see my pusswatcha, dress like men in hair metal bands from the 1980s.
I had a goth friend who would always get laid without much trouble. At some point he got a normal job and had to "become a normie", and I learned that it wasn't because he was a goth, it was because he was a complete asshole with women, and some women, for some reason, can't resist assholes.

Outlook (new) (a webversion in a wrapper, so it only has half of the functions, but they force you to use it while planning to deprecate the proper version)

Today’s kids don’t have to worry about turning off your PC before you can unplug your mouse or keyboard
All devices now have chips that do a handshake with the charger, exchanging information about supported standards and charging using the best common option. So I charge my prohe with a 90W laptop charger, even when it is unable to use the whole wattage

Why Everyone Should Still Use an RSS Reader in 2024
Google Reader shutdown has completely changed the way I was ingesting information. It was so convenient, I always had 2-3 days worth of articles, web comics and news for reading.
Another problem was that many sites shifted to providing only parts of articles instead of full versions, and it was still the time when I wasn't always online to finish reading.

Would it be weird if I took something my neighbor put out for trash?
I do that all the time. A thing is a thing, and it can be your thing now. I only try to ask myself two things:
Sidenote: I live in Denmark, where people overconsume, and then get rid of stuff which is still in good condition.
