Where and how do you spend your money?

I have been disabled without income for nearly 10 years and finally after apply for 10 years I got my SSI. It's not a lot but it's better then just food stamps.

I go to WinCo for food for the whole time. It seems always good prices and just nice compared to anywhere else

My question is where and how do you spend money for things you need. I tried Amazon and it's way way way to much things and I don't know what is good or not as it's just 1000s of products of the exact same thing.

I went to Walmart and everything seems just worse from what I remember and prices are from what I remember to be extremes.

So from someone who hasn't really bought anything besides food for last 10 years. Any tips or help on well....Buying necessities and things?

How to ban/block a user from my feed from all instances new and old?

How would I go with blocking/banning on my feed a user that is making multiple users on lots of communities, there's this user cm0002 that keeps on popping up and noticing patterns especially in news stuff, and just content feels really off.

I am on voyager app on Android and been blocking them every time but they keep on making more and more and more accounts on other instances and always just incredibly suspicious.

Is there a way to block a username from any instance like block "cm0002@*" or something?

Been doing this for months ever sense I noticed this user/not and no matter what I do there's always a new instance they join and start posting in new communities that usually about local news in the US.

Powers out. Playing Factorio on steam deck

Gouda the controls for steam deck is absolutely horrible. Trying to make it last for the whole day because power is out for the whole day so I have my steam deck at 3 TDP. God is like 15 but the factory must grow. My server is down so I'm doing a speed run type playthrough on the steam deck

How is the controllers so incredibly difficult on a steam deck.

Anyways hope your all factories are doing great running at 60 ups.

So many updates yet don't know what's nee

I been playing modded Minecraft for years and years and I never seem to be able to get into vanilla Minecraft because of lack of accessibility options (like sorting your inventory easily or inventory management)

My question is there anything in the newest updates that are actually worth it? I stopped following the vanilla updates years ago because it was always just mob vote this mob vote that with little to no content or any bug fixes.

But I haven't seen a mob vote or anything and yet there updating it.

Is there anything sense 1.18.2 that's actually like ground breaking good or anything. From little I seen was a weird like weeping angels mob and riding that's which I find really weird they add that besides "look it's cute and look.its scary!".

Anything in the latest updates that I should look into that I could try out?

Steam deck compatible keyboard?

What brands or products work on Linux, particular with the steam deck as it's immutable so Logitech doesn't really work for it, does anybody have any suggestions? My few requirements is a wireless keyboard and full keyboard, as I use my steam deck as a console on my big screen. I can't seem to find a keyboard brand that works nativity with steam deck with software to change macro keys and what not.

How to setup auto clicking with mouse

I have a Logitech mouse, got it before a while ago before I dedicated everything to Linux, and fuckin Logitech software is required for me to set a button on the mouse for a macro for auto clicking.

Does anybody know how to make 2 of my mouse buttons auto click, one right mouse and the other left click. I have prob with my hands so games that require needing to click fast is hard on me. I have tried Piper but it didn't seem like a way to do that.

Does anybody know how to setup my Logitech mouse to auto click for desktop mode, I know a little about Linux and command line but honestly I'm really ad at it.

[help] Getting my first steam deck tomorrow

Getting my steam deck tomorrow. Already had Linux like steam deck on my laptop a while ago (didn't work well because fuck Nvidia)

But wanted to know what you all think is important to put on a steam deck, that's not something that's not what duckduckgo says with the websites it has. (I worded that horribly)

What are some niche things can I could do/install/play on the steam deck that most people wouldn't really do or think about doing?

I don't know a lot about Linux as I wish but I know a ok ish amount. Just wanting to find anything really interesting or useful to do with my steam deck

Also anybody know any casual games I can play randomly on public transit and don't have to sit down and play. Things that I can just easily stop. (Something like balentro kinda way you can just stop whenever)

[QUESTION] what's good recipes or ideas for someone who is extremely poor and rarely can't buy much but potatoes

Watching mythical kitchen about hash browns and wondering if anybody have any ideas on how to make potatoes into other things that are extremely cheap. I usually have only potatoes and margarine at last 2 weeks before I get food stamps because it isn't enough to cover basic food things.

Does anybody know any good ideas or recipes or something that does not require a lot of other one time ingredients? That's really cheap on quantities, like spices, where it can last a while with it being really inexpensive.

Things I have is absolutely basic cooking skills and cooking appliances. Microwave oven and stove. I don't have much of anything because and can't afford anything

Anybody have any ideas or recipes or thoughts?
