It's like breaking the stick and then telling the watchers they need more sticks, but they cost too much.

At least 40 people drown in France as 43C heatwave sweeps across country
Reply in thread
Lol,, 40°C is insanely hot for humans. Everything over 30 is super hot, over 35 is dangerous.
Add humidity to that and expect people to die from the heat alone.

Poutine

I live in Saskatchewan, and we are pretty big into poutines here. We even have a guy here that goes to each place and rates their poutines lol.
We ( in my household) love to judge the quality of the cheese used. Curds vs mozza is quite noticeable.
It's my favourite cheese to just eat chunks of, quite satisfying texture.

Study says AI in schools may be doing more harm than good
"May"
We already have studies outside of AI on how bad not doing the critical thinking for oneself is. It is literally impossible for this to not be detrimental.

"Gamers don't want it": Palworld lead says Pocketpair doesn't touch AI because players hate it and artists "like doing stuff themselves"

Some people need to get outside and learn to actually enjoy it. Then I bet they would not find their time best spent combing someone's post history to down vote the comments.
I honestly feel bad for people like that.

'Major shock': Canadians grapple with loss of CBC's Hockey Night in Canada tradition
Reply in thread
I do. No commercials, 90 minutes of my day max. I absolutely love watchig the game that way compared to watching it for three hours.
I also don't know anyone who likes hockey so it's easy for me to do, since no one ever wants to talk about it with me.

GTA 6’s Publisher Says Video Games Should Theoretically Be Priced At Dollars Per Hour
Thank fuck for indie devs making the best games right now at an affordable price.
I have over a thousand games in my steam library and my most played is dominated by indie games.

Anon enforces automotive safety
Where I live, the driver gets the ticket if the passenger has no seatbelt. The car doesn't move unless everyone is buckled in, because I'm not paying for someone else's laziness.

This photo of Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders giving a speech while students left out in the rain. Perfectly symbolic of conservatives in America.
Those girls look miserable.

Man do I feel bad for you Americans when I see this shit.
So many Americans justify it as well... I can mention it on reddit and I'll get viciously attacked defending that shit healthcare system.
It's hands down, the worst in western civilization.

The pirates are back - Anew study from the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) suggest that online piracy has increased for the first time in years. In fact, piracy rates have bee...
Wow that wording, trying to make pirating sound like an evil crime lol. I feel no moral negativity pirating. In fact, my conscience is clean and I feel morally obligated to, considering how expensive they are making services.
I think reading between the lines is the real story: when they get greedy, pirating puts them I check and causes pricing to become affordable and people stop pirating. Once people are not pirating, greed increases and pirates have to return to put them in place again.
In conclusion... we need pirates to balance things out, this pirating is a necessity in our modern age..
You are welcome everyone, I am doing my part for myself and I am doing my part for you.

Yeah, I think how she is using it is completely acceptable. We all understand what she is saying and what she means... that's a win in my book.
