New $100,000 H-1B Fee Planned for Visa Workers Already in US
I'm in a part of the country where I'm competing with global talent for a job. To be frank, I'm not that good - and neither are most people. It makes it incredibly difficult to get a job in the area. So, I'm not totally heartbroken about the fee. I'd like to see more companies invest in local talent.

Gf wants baby
First decide what you really want - and what is a deal breaker. Then have a serious chat with your GF. This is one of those topics that you really need to be in agreement on for a LTR to work.
On a personal note, I have kids and love it. My life has 100% more trampoline in it because of them. But, they aren't for everyone - and that's ok.

Better Call Mom: Schools Still See Mothers as the Default Parent to Contact

Sanders to introduce bill to end Social Security garnishment for student loan debt
We should do this because it is progress (and also cruel not to do it). But in an ideal world, college and trade school should be free.

That explains it.
That is a rough looking 40.

State tells employees to report on one another for ‘anti-Christian bias’
Do they mean like when their leadership is revoking student visas, going Leviticus 19:34 states: "You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself".

Why am I seeing "plan your voting day strategy" so often?
Lines can be long, polls have limited hours (often conflicting with work hours), a person may need a ride to the polling location, etc. Some states have stupid rules like you can't give people in line to vote food or water, which makes standing in line for hours more challenging.

Did you even say 'thank you'?
As a hiring manager, I can confidently say, please do not send me any more email - even if it is to thank me.

Then they aren't really about efficiency, are they? When properly set up, WFH for office work is very effective and efficient.
