Dismissing a post because of the platform it is posted on sounds pretty racist to me. Judge them not by the color of the greentext but the content of the meme. Or, something like that.

Caring for a leaf bug

One of these guys. I got him in this bread pan with that big ass leaf acting like a moat in shallow water. I threw a bunch of random leaves I found from outside including clover. But I have no idea if he's gonna eat any of that.
EDIT: Oh shit he's eating the big ass leaf now

You wouldn’t have Wayland if it weren’t for WONTFIX, ya daft cunts.
16 years later, and it still barely works. Plasma made it a first-class citizen in the last release and I still had to switch back to X11 because a million WONTFIXes later there's so many hacked together solutions just to get it to barely work its insane. How do you mess up copy and paste??

Solving homelessness
Isaiah 3
14 The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts.

You're not wrong. The whole system is governed by fear. It is the operating principle by which this world operates.
Anyone that says "I'm just doing my job" living their life based on fear, and not reason. All it does is give the psychopaths running everything more power.
We need to stop being afraid. Believe it or not, it is a choice. You can wake up every morning happy, and at total peace. No matter what is happening in your life. Mind over matter, as they say.

Privacy = freedom. If you don't have privacy, or to the extent you don't have privacy, you are in proportion not free.
It seems to me this is the trade off we are all figuring out how to make. For example, I've considered not having a cell phone at all, but then I find it almost impossible to get a job, or operate in the economy. So I use a custom privacy ROM. I have no illusions that this is perfect, but at least a step in the right direction.
I think the most practical answer is to gain knowledge of the situation, and limit our attack surface. I don't think there's any silver bullets, unless you want to live like the Amish (which, doesn't sound like a bad idea, either. If that's what you want and you can do it, go for it.)

I totally and completely blame Microsoft for this. They do so many other ridiculous things in the name of not confusing the average tech illiterate user.
Clicking a Zip file and having it transparently open and treating it like a regular folder when it is not. This. THIS is borderline criminal.

First, a true principle and anything built on true principles are timeless. If pepperoni pizza is the Truth then quite frankly we should be eating it for the rest of our life.
Second, the founding fathers never said this. They created the Constitution as a living document. Also, almost every major problem in this country can be traced back to deviation from what the constitution set forth. "Congress shall issue money." J/k we're gonna have a private, un-auditable Federal Reserve print money out of thin air and loan it at interest.

adblocking DNS
Totally based. Is it a PiHole? We set one up a few years ago. One of the best things we've ever done. Totally worth it when even the inline ads and tracking are blocked on phone apps.

Property and liability are important!
We elected a bunch of lawyers to run our country. No surprise then that everything is based around liability and "safety"
