man I remember when this came out. people were lining up outside stores to get their copies. think the only other time I've seen people line up for an OS was with OS X.

i'm constantly switching back and forth between them as well as helix. I like them all.

when I first made the move to Linux I started on Mint. lasted all of a week or two. I hated it. but instead of going back to Windows I just tried another distro. Landed on CachyOS and used that for a good year or so. then I moved to NixOS.

Now I've ditched them all and use OpenBSD with a partition of Bazzite purely for gaming.

All that being said I still like Linux, it's not for everyone, some distros are absolute garbage so I don't blame you for giving it a go and going back. If Windows suits your needs then awesome.

on my server I have the entire library of NES, Master System, Game Gear, GB, GBC, GBA, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, PSX, and PS2 games. Terabytes of games. have I played them all? no way.

Seeing a website for your distro that is built entirely with an agent does not instill much confidence in the project because NOW i'm wondering "what other AI slop is in this distro?"

annnnnnd reading the site the guy who made this is clearly mentally unwell. folks DO NOT use this thing, I wouldn't trust it on my system. if you do, keep it as a VM. this is like TempleOS levels of crazy but without a single ounce of talent.

maybe like 10 years ago there was a trend in my city for bars that were also gaming cafes. there was at least a few here. I loved them and I frequented one a lot to play Overwatch when it first came out. have a couple beers, play overwatch, it was great.

that trend died out as quickly as it came and they all shut down. Wasnt like a net cafe that was open 24 hours, just regular bar hours so like 5pm to 2am. it was nice to go to after work and hang out with friends have a few beers and play some games.
