What Trump promised oil CEOs as he asked them to steer $1 billion to his campaign: Donald Trump has pledged to scrap President Biden’s policies on electric vehicles and wind energy & more

Lobbying = Death of Democracy

It really is as simple as that. The moment you allow one group of people/companies to have 24/7 access to politicians and yet the general population only gets to vote every couple of years, you are effectively done with democracy.

Nothing you can do now but please remember this once/if the great reset is done 😁

Donald Trump Says Jill Stein May be One of His 'Favorite Politicians'

Trump voters are dumb but I have to say, people voting for this woman are an unholy mix of supreme arrogance and supreme stupidity. Trump voters are right up there but I still give the edge to Jill Stein voters.

This is because of their conviction and belief that they are on the right side of the spectrum and will deny anything thrown at them to show what she is and what her purpose is. This is the arrogance and stupidity combined. Heck, the campaign spoke person even said it out loud; Jill Stein is there in the mix to prevent a Kamala win. Yet they still close their eyes and ears and vote for that russian stooge. Incredible.

Netanyahu Under Fire After Calling Rafah Massacre a 'Tragic Mistake' [Brett Wilkins | May 27, 2024 | Common Dreams]

I will make this statement once more as I see people defending the bombing of Palestinians because of various reasons. I will not go into these reasons as they matter zero to my statement. Here it is:

You do not bomb your way through children to get at your target. Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao and Stalin could be hiding amongst or beneath, you Do Not Bomb Your Way Through Children.

This is a simple fact and if you cannot agree with this then in my mind you are despicable and a monster. Vaporizing children into a red mist will never solve your problems. Past transgressions of your enemy does not change this simple fact. It really is that simple.

Yet I feel people here seem to forget this simple rule. Disgusting.

Elon Musk's curious fixation with Britain

It will most probably not limit itself with the UK.

The UK is just ripe for the plucking, that country has shown the ability to shoot themselves in the nuts and has proven to be able to elect nutjobs and/or a nutjob party. See Truss, Johnson, Sunak, etc.

Any country that shows social instability, a reasonably strong fascist movement and uproar against people from the left through MAGA terminology will be in his visor as a target. He will then endorse these via his platform and his fortune.

He is willing to see the world burn for personal gain. These gains will come through his companies located all over the world, hence his meddling with these countries.

The back-to-office backfire: Companies ending WFH perks lose out on top talent, who view flexible work as equivalent to an 8% raise

From experience I have seen how employers/government were forced back to the office. My Indian colleagues had to return to their offices because the office buildings were empty and it cost money. Government officials either owned or had friends own office buildings and it made monetary sense for them to force workers back to the offices. It was a play between corrupt officials and businesses, nothing more. Well, that and a profound and deep distrust of their workforce. It was a sad sight to see that happening to them.

My guess is that this could also occur the same way in the west.
