I have been an apple fanboy since 1979. Their recent moves to appease the current administration have taken away all of my enthusiasm. I had already un-googled and un-reddited my life, I have been seriously thinking about un-appleing as well. Gulf of fucking America. Go fuck yourself Apple.

Don’t know about anyone else but I no longer shop at regular supermarkets for most of my food. It’s mostly Aldi and home prepared meals for us now. We are pretty well off financially but I refuse to pay outrageous amounts for big brand products any longer. I’d rather save the money and use it on a nice family vacation.

That day I will buy the biggest pig and roast it and invite all my friends to party like it’s 1999.

I recently found out that after 55 you can withdraw from your 401K without penalties if you lose your job.

It has (I recently turned 55) given me a peace of mind I have never known before. If I get fired, I know it will not be the end of my world, and have my wife’s health insurance to fall back on.

Crazy how we live so many years with this specter of doom hanging over us.
