Trump set to whack US working class with historic $3,000 tax hike
Reply in thread
You won't see $2k more in Federal Income Tax, you'll pay higher prices on store shelves (because of the tariffs the Federal government collected from the importer of the goods, which ultimately get passed on to you the consumer)

Levi's are going to shit though.
The 559s I bought in 2022 are starting to come apart. The 559s I bought in 2023 split at the inseam a few months ago. The 559s I bought a year ago blew apart last week when I set down a heavy box. They are observably getting worse as time goes on.
The Levi's from the early 2000s lasted 15+ years.

Recommendations for an OBD II scanner?
If you just need a scanner to get and clear the codes, grab the cheapest one you can find. No point in spending the extra money on one that connects to the Internet and/or diagnoses your codes if you are mildly competent at using a search engine yourself.

My credit union no longer allows me to payoff pending purchases made on my credit card
Reply in thread
FYI - your Credit Union and your Credit Union's Credit Card are likely two separate and unaffiliated companies. Most small to mid sized banks and credit unions don't actually issue credit cards. They contact that out to the credit card arm (ex. FIA Card Services) of a national bank (ex. Bank of America) that offers white-label/rebranded cards.
