Now that you have settled here on Lemmy. What is your impression of it?

Me too, it feels like every post is about getting you to hate more.

Is the Framework 16 worth buying?
I love mine. I was a batch 4 I think. I had a keyboard issue that framework took care of very quickly.
In terms of durability, I carry it to and from work everyday, and have had no issues.
In terms of fit and finish, it isn't perfect. The mousepad spacers are a little uneven.
Other than that everything has been working fine, gpu, number pad, etc. I am running linux on it with no issues.

What is grouping plasmoid?
Plasmoids are the widgets that you put on your task bar in KDE.
The Grouping Plasmoid lets you group multiple widgets together on the task bar.
To add one you right click on the task bar and click on the "Add Widget" button. Then find the Grouping Plasmoid and drag it to your bar.

Report states EV battery replacements will cost less than fixing a gas engine by 2030
That is a horribly written article.
It says EVs will outlast their batteries, so they wont need replacement.
It doesn't say what type of gas engine fix it is being compaired to, or if the EV motor will need any other repairs (I believe general maintenance is less on EVs than ICEs, but the aricle gives no information.)

Our US friends see the Olympic Medal table differently
Aren't tables typically sorted by the total column? Plus on the US one you can sort by any column, unlike the other one.
