Taylor bats away multiculturalism saga criticism, says Australia shouldn’t 'look like Japan'

The article delves into it a bit. I can feel it when in Japan, and I quite like Japan's monoculture - even as a tourist. It's basically taking dojo etiquette and applying it everywhere. Everyone is born and raised with the same culture and same values. They get along, and work as one.
They even take it in turns when cheering at a baseball game. No negativity. You cheer or be silent. It's so wholesome to see.

This sounds a bit like a passport-stamping scheme. But the passport doesn't have your name and photo on it. Hopefully it only stores verifiable stamps, but not who stamped it.
I hope they use this to tackle age verification. I'd like to just have a token to prove my age without handing over an actual ID to questionable companies.

$4.8m data centre proposed in Katoomba

Profits? It's not even financially sustainable.
The 3 sisters in Katoomba is an absolute spectacle of natural beauty. It's a nice, friendly country town. Not the kind of people that would want or need a data centre.

I got a presidential alert in NZ and I was on GrapheneOS at the time. It should work.
Check your settings upfront. There's a whole section called "Wireless emergency alerts". You can even turn on test alerts. I assume you'll get the "everything's OK alarm".
