Coathanger cursive Brian, 100% bent by hand, Bic lighter for scale

This particular coathanger happens to have a nice shiny black coating on it, and I didn't want to scratch, damage or remove that coating.

So I bent this one 100% by hand, with no pliers or anything, just my hands, fingers and muscles. And yes, it was extremely challenging, I'm surprised I didn't get any blisters and only broke one thumbnail in the process.

Note that I managed to get this one to stand up and balance on its own without a stand. I did that by ever so slightly curving the final result, the center is about 5mm closer to the viewer than the ends.

I'm not a vegan, but I do like my fruits and vegetables. With that said, when is it gonna be safe to eat lettuce or other recalled contaminated veggies again?

Every time they announce a recall, I rarely ever hear anything about when said foods are safe again.

Like, is this entire year's crop of lettuce, jalapeños, etc just ruined or what? 🤔

Edit for the true vegans: Yes, I like, even love a good vegan salad, more often than I tend to admit. But hell, when the veggies are causing weeks of diarrhea, what do?

Are there any trustworthy Bible Reader apps out there for Android?

Asking for my mom, because she's prone to getting malware on her phone and I think her bible apps might be related.

No I'm not a religious person, I just respect my mom and want to help her while respecting her wishes. I just think the current Bible Reader apps she has are likely malware in disguise.

Yes I realize this isn't particularly a tech support community. If my question doesn't belong here, feel free to remove it, but at least suggest an appropriate community to ask first.

Yet another cursive coathanger name, Nancy

This time I made it just a little bit smaller than I've been making them, to keep as much extra material as I could, to make into a built-in desk/table stand. I am very pleased with the results, as I still wasn't sure up until the end if I was even gonna be able to pull off that stand part.

Potential color(s) to paint it, yet to be decided, but I feel the name should be one solid color, while the stand/underline part should be another color.

Thoughts and opinions welcome, as always. The lady this is meant for has no idea this gift is coming her way, but the elderly lady that asked me to make it for her is thinking red..

Further work and practice with my cursive writing bent coathangers, now practicing nail polish painting them..

Sorry the photo colors aren't super vibrant, but I went with horizontal stripes of glittery teal and glittery silver.

This photo is just the first coat, mostly done, basically, but figured I'd share before the ambient cloudy sunlight gets too dim ya know..

I like it, starting to make some money off this hobby no less 👍

The local wild birds played a song for me today. I successfully identified the song they were chirping: Tears For Fears - Head Over Heels

This was no coincidence nor accident either. Once I recognized the notes, I loaded up the song on my tablet and played it on the balcony. Within about 10 seconds, all the birds stopped chirping..

They didn't fly away or anything, they just stopped chirping and started listening. I think they were actually asking me to play that song, I think they're trying to learn it better.

At least the birds have a sense of good music, I'd absolutely love to hear the wild birds adopt TFF!
