Generally I've found the people who say this get privacy and secrecy confused. You close the door when you go to the bathroom because you want privacy, not because you have anything to hide. Everyone has a pretty good idea what you're doing in there but you close the door anyways. Secrecy would be if you were cooking Meth in the bathroom and wanted to keep it a secret.

Personally I use the torrent ip check on ipleak.net. You just add the magnet to your client and it'll fail itself and then list the ip on the site.

I've found the best way to check for leaks with torrenting is by using ipleak.net. They have a feature which will tell you the address it sees you torrenting from. Super handy.

Soulseek and Torrent sites would be my suggestion. I'm able to seed 24/7 and would be willing to help if you want it.

You can always just compile for your lower end systems on your higher end ones. I don't remember exactly the way to do this but I know it's possible

For a lot of people, it's a community thing. I'm a member on Orpheus and they have a lot of great community stuff like Album of the Month, user made scripts, tutorials, forums, etc. They can also have a lot higher quality content and moderation because they're so "exclusive". And, for music, a private tracker is gonna be 100x better than a public one or Soulseek.

Not necessarily. The value of Reddit comes from it's massive amount of content. A lot of the traffic is just people searching stuff and Reddit coming up first. By deleting your comments and posts, Reddit becomes less valuable even if they still have that content on their end.

There're many more window managers out there but these are the ones I've personally used (besides XMonad) and know the most about.

If you don't like a built in status bar then you can disable it in the config and use another one like Polybar. Distrotube (on Odyssey or Youtube) also has really good videos on all of these window managers and more which I really recommend you check out if you haven't already.

Personally though, I think Qtile will give you the best experience.

Arch Enemy fucking rocks. Angela and Alyssa are both badass and are probably my first time seeing a woman do harsh vocals like that.

You should be able to use adbshell with shizuku (both in f-droid) to remove whatever you won't use. I doubt there's any custom Roms that'll help here though. If you're willing to root the phone then you can probably find some way to get what you want.

I actually just recently released a mod which is a native Linux port of SCARaw's Engine Mesh Updater.

Kenshi is old and uses outdated meshes so updating them gives a pretty big performance increase and fixes quite a few crashes and such. This tool automatically finds and updates all workshop and regular mod's meshes so it has to be run once everything is already installed.

Not sure how to help with this but as a temporary workaround you can append an "&" after the command to make it run even after the terminal is closed. Should look like steam --restart &.

I deleted the app I was using to browse reddit (Infinity) and have blocked reddit.com system-wide on my computer. Admittedly this is a bit overkill for me but it's an easy solution.
