The WHO is about to declare aspartame can cause cancer

There is a lot of public misunderstanding of the rodent studies that linked aspartame to cancer, which are very flawed and essentially come from a single Italian research group.

There is still no definitive link to cancer risk in humans so I would continue to be skeptical. The maximum recommended safe exposure for aspartame is the equivalent of 12 cans of coke, and the strong effects from the rodent study were using exposure amounts equivalent to 5 times that amount, or 60 cans daily, every day of their life after day 12 of fetal life (i.e. before birth).

Almost anything can cause long-term health risks and toxicity at such massive exposure levels.

Link to the free Pubmed link to one of the original source studies from 2008 so you can see their methodology and the absurdly massive exposure amounts needed to ovserve these effects:

Incoming medical students walk out at University of Michigan’s white coat ceremony as the keynote speaker is openly anti-abortion.

Late-term abortions are nearly always due to serious complications that endanger both mother and fetus, or in cases where the fetus is already non-viable or braindead. You are proposing forcing mothers to risk their lives to give birth to dead fetuses. Educate yourself instead of parroting conservative propaganda.

Yeah, if you don’t hydrate it you’re just building drywall in your intestines.

Winds up being counterproductive for weight loss since everything gets trapped in there longer and more nutrients are absorbed.

I think part of that is how popular merchandising like funko pops have become in recent years, Futurama was many years ago at this point.

Second reason is that despite its longevity in the internet consciousness, it’s easy to forget Futurama was fairly unpopular when it was originally airing.

Diablo IV has been disappointing so far

My biggest problems are with the MMO aspects (renown grinding and fetchquests), they really slow down the gameplay in a bad way to me and will not be fun to redo once seasons start.

It really detracts from replayability, I used to really enjoy starting new characters in D2/D3 but it feels like a slog in D4 since it takes so long for the game to open up.

Presentation is overall fantastic though, the character designs and equipment are great and the music is phenomenal (headphones needed), both are huge steps up from D3 for me.

Class balance and skill balance is clearly not finished yet and needs some work, endgame is extremely narrow and feels bad for some classes. That will definitely get some rebalancing, hopefully more builds can be viable by season 1.

Will you try a new class for Season 1 or replay your previous one?

I’m really hoping Sorc gets some buffs to make it more fun to play, I just tried starting a third one (abandoned all 3 before WT3) with full renown bonuses and it still feels like wet tissue paper both offensively and defensively.

As they play now, probably Rogue (movement speed/skills feels so good while leveling) or Necro (just the best feeling overall despite terrible speed).
