Gen Z Is Cutting Back On Video Game Purchases

Less money to buy games, cost of games go up, quality still crap, riddled with micro transactions. Why buy a game when it comes out when you can wait to buy it on a sale while you play your backlog and by the time you buy the game it will be the best version because they had time to fix it up, almost never to the degree it should be but still the best it's going to get

Most consumers hate the idea of AI-generated customer service

I extremely hate this idea. I I already hate the automated systems that are definitely designed to make you give up just trying to talk to an actual human being. Hopefully, we can get more lawsuits around the world like the Air canada one where they are liable for any bs the ai decides to make up, along with actual laws saying the same. Hopefully, it would discourage them.

Leaked SpaceX documents show company forbids employees to sell stock if it deems they've misbehaved

Reply in thread

It's if SpaceX decides that the employee misbehaved, not the company that misbehaved, that allows them to ban that employee from selling private stocks. Also if you leave the company for any reason you lose out on 6 months of them or if you are fired they will buy back all of your stocks at $0, all the while you are paying taxes on your stocks. So the employees could possibly end up losing money from taxes on something they never actually got because the company said so.

I thought this a couple of years ago, even though i was diagnosed at 5 (29 now). It's funny how i went my whole life thinking it was just the stereotypical adhd is just hyperactivity and laziness because the doctors never really tried to explain how this disorder could affect me. I decided to look it up studf about adhd and am deeply conflicted by how it literally explains my entire life and behaviors even though i thought i had it under control. On one hand im glad there is something that explains a lot of my struggles and medical issues but on the other i feel like my entire personality is just dictated by adhd and that i never really had as much freedom of choice as i thought i did.

When it comes to saving, Gen Z asks: 'What’s the point?' That's dangerous, expert says

I don't blame then, when everything is getting so expensive you have such a high risk of going bankrupt if you want to buy a house why would you. When all of our social saftey nets, social security included, are at risk and the average life expectancy is going down and you have to work for the rest of your life even if you save money, why would you. I may not be a part of that generation but i feel like when all you got to look forward to in life is nothing but work, you don't feel like you have much to live for so you are going to make it as enjoyable as possible and hope you die early enough that it doesn't matter that you didn't save money.
