Satellite firm pauses imagery after revealing Iran's attacks on US bases

The article says images over Iran are still available without delay. It's the regions around around that are affected. I assume it is to hide the effectiveness of Iran retaliation to Iran or to public opinion.

Unreal Engine to move to using Y-up
As an engineer, Z up right handed is the only one that makes sense. All engineering follows this convention, motion sensors (example) or GPS topography will use that.
Cameras calibrations also use right hand but typically rotated such that it's X right, Y down, Z depth. That way, the projection formula give the pixels column, row and depth values.

The situation is pretty much identical in France. It should be noted that European Union was pretty much designed by the USA so its propensity to favor US positions and to fail to unite and thrive is by design.

AMD won't patch all chips affected by severe data theft vulnerability — Ryzen 3000, 2000, and 1000 will not get patched for 'Sinkclose'

Consumer usage is not really concerned by the attack scenario of this vulnerability from what I understand. The prerequisite is to have access to the bios so it's already game over at this point.

technology is still advancing
Actually not really: performance per watt of the high end stuff has been stagnating since Ampere generation. NVidia hides it by changing models in its benchmarks or advertising raw performance without power figures.
