I'd say their sneering distrust of everything has brought us to where we are now.

They don't really admit wrongdoing. They claim Trump deceived them, I assume about being a sexual predator and a pedophile.
They stand by their position on his policies, which are arguably worse for America than his depravity. Explicitly they mention the misogyny (abortion bans) and disregard for human lives (deregulation of guns), but claim to disagree on everything else - which must include climate and environmental protection, poverty and wealth, foreign policy etc.

YouTube adds new hurdles for ad blockers, and there's currently no way around it
I don't really get the sentiment here - what's happening is the standard development if a public good (that youtube kind of was before google purchased them) gets privatized. It's the same with communications (isn't AT&T great?), water, electricity, rail infrastructure and trains, roads - investors are never good for the public good. They're only good at lining their pockets.

Why Does Driving Make People Crazy?
There's a study linking road rage to the level of authoritarianism in a country's government. It's also tightly linked to machismo.
I personally think that it has a lot to do with inadequate infrastructure that requires people to communicate while restricting possibilities for communication (i.e. multi lane roads with high speed limits), combined with lacking drivers' ed and a fragmented highly individualistic society.

This is exactly "America First" which was never about Americans but about deception and control.

Bluff: All Imported Honey from China Fake, New Tests Show
There's no place in Europe you can't get locally produced honey. If this is important to you get your honey from a local beekeeper, for a higher price obviously.

The risk isn't derived from the technology but how it is used. The proprietary technology is used to prevent farmers from creating their own seed (including using copy right laws) while increasing their dependency on matching pesticides. Industrial agriculture is not sustainable - insect populations are dwindling because every square foot of landscape is sprayed with poison. GMO is used to further industrialize agriculture, e.g. by making crops resistant to poison, which in turn can (and will) be used more liberally.

If a country needs to employ state-sponsored patriotism, it's usually because there's nothing to be proud of about the country.
There is no difference between patriotism and nationalism. Both instill pride in non-achievements (like being born in the right place) while degrading others for the offense of being born somewhere else.

That's not news. The US has for a long time reading/copying contents of electric devices at the border

Trump calls for jailing of Chicago mayor and Illinois governor as national guard arrives in city
Only after the fascists murdered Luxemburg and Liebknecht the workers realized they should have protected them. Political power comes from the barrel of a gun and without militias, democracy will die without as much as a struggle.

There's a huge difference between personal behavior and policy. I'd rather see politicians who, while flawed in their personal lives, improve the lives of their constituents, than saints who sell out to the highest bidder.
But I suspect your snark does not come from a place of good faith, which is why you resort to cheap ad hominem attacks.
