I rarely get ads, thanks to pihole. But whenever my server is down for maintenance etc. I get spammed with "Visit the USA!" and "America the Beautiful" ads. I live in Australia... Why the fuck would I want to visit that shithole country?

My Son broke his arm (type 3 fracture) last week. We went to our local ER and were seen immediately. We ended up spending 3 nights in hospital and having multiple surgeries to pin and correct the break. He's on a 6 week care plan with scheduled appointments with a specialist team.

Friendly reminder to not feed birds human food. There are many native birds here in Australia with food dependency issues and malformed beaks due to the lack of nutrients and minerals.

Definitely includes bread, its likely a big cause of beak issues. The keratin that makes up the beak grows continuously, and needs foods like wild nuts, seeds, and bark to wear it down. Bread, obviously, doesn't do this. Also, if a bird's stomach is "full" with bread, it won't forage for it's regular food, and will miss out on the vitamins and minerals it needs to survive.
