If that were the case though, wouldn't the number of Threads users be the exact same as the current number of Instagram users?

Now that Sync and Infinity are out, which do people prefer? Also, how do they compare to the existing lemmy apps?
Gunna wait for Boost to come out, and when it does, whoever wins out of Sync, Infinity, and Boost, I'm getting ad free for (probably Boost)

TV Has a Serious Comedy Problem, and This Year’s Emmy Nominations Prove It
Reply in thread
Do you think the issue is that people don't go to the cinemas specifically for comedy films? I personally only ever go for action and thriller films (with the odd horror film sprinkled in), because I feel like seeing it at the cinema can greatly enhance the experience. Feels a bit of an overkill experience for a comedy film personally.
I don't know how many people are on a similar wavelength, but maybe a lot of comedy films are now hybrids because it gets bums on seats?

Elon Musk Rebranded Twitter as 'X.' Users Immediately Rejected the Change

Literally the only thing keeping me on Twitter is that I want notifications from my sports team, as well as the local sports reporter who covers them. I used to be able to have their tweets come through an RSS reader, but since Elon's nuking of API access that no longer works :(

2FA and You: Some tips for enabling 2FA
2FA feels very half-baked atm.
Tried to set it up and got locked out, but apparently you can get around 2FA by simply requesting a password reset...
That seems like a massive security flaw, and essentially makes 2FA non-existent atm.
