Mull was the only browser on my phone, which was more than enough for me, never encountered a problem with it and haven't had to use another browser for the past two years.

A funny thing in Iran is how they repackage old PlayStation consoles
Similar to how the market works here in Iraq. They package refurbished consoles with new boxes and often 3rd party controllers. A ps1 with two controllers and a usb flash drive full of random roms goes for around 50,000 IQD which is about 35$.

What lemmy thinks of Iraq?

Well nothing much since 2014 except it become more safe with the security situation becoming more stable that tourists are being attracted to here. Corruption still a big issue and we see more and more of these cases most of them don't get resolved unfortunately because of the authorities negligence. Lack of jobs made the people more mad with the last 4 years, protests became more often demanding of jobs in the government sectors. Water drought and the climate change started to effect our lives with no government efforts to reduce it's impact. Generally Iraq is better now people are happier than ever.

Iraqi here!, I can confirm that people were optimistic of the invasion in the first 3 years or so in the hope that Americans would help iraq to re-establish itself thinking they would be a second Germany or Japan, then it all came crushing down with the civil war in 2006. Where America is now considered the evil that holds Iraq from moving in the right direction, and so began 20 years of destruction.
Edit: sorry for the typo.

Fennec is the only one still in development. There are some discussions to fork librewolf to android but nothing is official yet. I also came across Ironfox which is a mull fork, but everything still so vague about it

best flag rule
My favorite is the one i made imagining the flag of Shia state in Iraq if it would be real.
And if you mean a real flag then it would be the flag of Mongolia.

Yes, born raised and probably gonna die here. I live in southern region of Iraq, specifically the city of Nasiryah. Generally everything are still lacking behind due to years of war but it's getting better bit by bit with some hiccups because of the Iranian government influence, inflation, corruption.

My attempt at redesigning the flag of Iraq
Reply in thread
Most of the proposed flags have the color blue as a symbol of Sumer Civilization, Euphrates and Tigris, the sky of mesopotamia. The other three colors I picked from the 1959 Flag. While the symbol in the middle may look like a meaningless logo it represents both the national flower of Iraq and the star of Ishtar while also expressing the twin rivers of iraq with two white strips.

End of 10 is a campaign to move people over to Linux with Windows 10 support ending
As a 15 years old pc user who likes to play games with a 15 years old nvidia graphics card. The only thing that's preventing me from fully migrating to linux is the fact that nvidia doesn't support my gpu anymore, so no proprietary driver, unless, I use a 6 years old kernel version.
The only choice I have for modren distros is the nouveau drivers, which lacks behind alot specially when it comes to gaming.
I now have a dual boot setup running Popos and windows, but still I can't be fully free from Windows, having to reboot every time I feel like playing something.
I hope in the near future I get less broke to buy a new computer or maybe the new nvk drivers will supports my gpu which is unlikely.

For 100 years women was treated as the inferior gender not just in Iraq but all around the Arabian Gulf area due to religious/customary reasons. Iraq was one of the first countries to allow women to drive, it was and will be the most secular middle eastern country. After the American invasion on Iraq women's rights was at decline because of the war, and it's now even better than ever. So they feel pretty much normal I guess, they even sometimes have more freedom than us men here.
