Did something today I had been putting off for 6 months

Kind of? If that makes sense. It's less a feeling of accomplishment and more relief cause it isn't hanging over my head anymore.

That was one of my fears as well. Thankfully, the issue is so wide spread that they are replacing them outright even after the warranty has elapsed. Sony WF-1000XM4 has an issue where one of the buds drains 5 times faster than the left. Started with firmware 1.4 or 1.4.2.

Met with a psychiatrist for ADHD diagnosis
Have you considered the adhdonline.com route? I was pointed that direction to get a on assessment as it was faster and less expensive. Assessments could have taken 3+ months and cost several thousand dollars. The online assessment cost $180 and I completed it in a few hours on a Friday afternoon. I had a diagnosis of ADHD (other) by midday the following Tuesday. I started on medication that Thursday.

I don't have an offering for the XDA profile that you're looking for, but a potential alternative. Consider the KAM profile as well.
I used the XDA canvas set on a number of boards for about 5 years and recently switched to the KAM Superuser set on my . The dishes on the top of the keys are very slightly smaller but the height and general profile are very, very similar.
Thekeeblog has a nifty comparison chart that puts XDA and KAM side by side.

When it's midnight and you just need to get the moccamaster ready for the morning before bed... but then the ADHD rears its ugly head
My worst for coffee has to be dumping the beans in, flicking the switch, and then watching all the grounds just dump straight on the counter cause I didn't put the basket back...

Can't beat a model M. First time used one was at work. GE used to deploy a variant of the Model M with their Cariolab and Maclab workstations. Had its own custom key cap set specifically for their application functions. So satisfying to type on.

I mentioned the difference in battery usage and heat when charging. The date of purchase and model may make a difference though. Bought mine at the end of 2021. This is a good article to get some info going into it. I did the online chat with Sony. Good luck!

Wanting to move from conventional to ergo mech. Am overwhelmed. Send help.
I haven't used either of those 3, but I have used a few dactyl manuforms, and an ergodox before that.
For a mech beginner the Moonlanders web customization menu is fantastic. It's pretty polished and has a lot of the features that you would want or need at an entry level mech user.
If you have experience with soldering you could investigate hardwiring a 3D printed Dactyl. My personal favorite iteration is the Carbonfette version due to theodded thumb cluster.
Personally I use a skeletal, tented manufom: Threaded Dactyl Flex

So my process was a bit out of order, but yes I was billed for a consultation as well as the assessment. I think after insurance my scenario was similar to yours. The Psychiatrist who I saw prior to my assessment (PCP referred me one step too far) suggested the online route as it would take 3 to 6 months to be assessed through conventional channels. I was also told it could cost as much as $3000 to $4000 for the assessment alone.
I figured that I didn't have much to lose. With the Psychiatrist themselves telling me that the diagnosis given through the online service was an actionable diagnosis, then why not give it a try. Seems that the site employs a team or teams of credentialed and certified psychiatrists to report on the questionnaires.
Seems that the change in accepting a diagnosis from ADHDonline.com is a new thing as of this year or last.

Replied to someone else, but wanted to make sure you saw the info. The Psych NP that I saw told me to use adhdonline.com. The questionnaire took a few hours. Result took about 2 business days. Cost was $180. I started on concerta the next day.

Procras-ductivity: What are you working on today instead of what you're supposed to be doing?
Attempting to configure a Fedora torrenting computer. The goal was to have always on VPN, allow remote access from a windows computer without logging out the user account when the remote session closed, and to also store the files on a windows based server I am using for Plex....

Same! After mine broke I bounced between Samsung and Garmin before landing in a feñix 6 pro sapphire. Battery life is amazing. Watch faces are configurable and Garmin has an application that allows you to build your own faces if you have the time/inclination. And it's damn near indestructible. Going on 3 years daily wear and it still looks like it could be new. Check out the black Friday deals.

I actually started another project and then hit a dead end. is what I was working on. 7 button (counting the encoder click), pool ball, 3 btu bearings. Was built on an eliteC and a sensor rather than a ploopy PCB to try and reduce overall height and footprint. I just couldn't sort out programming it so it got shelved.
