Innövative sölutiön
I would allow it, it's brilliant. The main learning benefit of cheat sheets comes from writing them, not from using them.

I don't even know what it exactly wants to be
All I remember is that they used to automatically inject ads and spyware to downloadable files. No idea if they still do that, most likely yes

I don't think LLMs will become completely paid, but instead they will be filled with product placement and ads.
You're absolutely right! Have you considered how refreshing a Nuka-Cola product would taste while copy-pasting this writing assignment? Here are directions to the nearest Nuka-Cola vending machine.
Or perhaps a little more subtly, when talking about soft drinks, LLM mentions Nuka-Cola (and how refreshing it is) as an example, rather than competing brands.
Or you ask image generators for a picture of a cartoon cat and it just happens to be holding a bottle of Nuka-Cola. Or maybe there are a few recognizable bottles of Nuka-Cola on the table in the kitchen in the background.

Is anyone else scared of how fast AI is advancing?
Not really. If anything, I'm frustrated how slowly it's improving. Most new models are just made by pouring more money into the same problem instead of actually inventing anything new.
We have this glorified autocomplete feature and we are treating it for some reason like it would be an artificial general intelligence only because it outputs human like sentences. At the same time, it weakens the quality of the school system, products and services, raises the prices of consumer electronics, fills my internet with slop and destroys natural resources. We are living in a some kind of transitional phase and there are still many problems that have not yet been solved and it's really frustrating.

Laptops have soul
Mobile phones are so locked down from regular users that those usually just physically break before the operating system becomes unusably slow.
Laptops can be destroyed by software. Give a regular user permission to install programs, and suddenly there are a random purple monkey sitting on the desktop telling jokes and multiple crypto miners.

Why?
I hate this. I don't want to remember which provider I use for each site and I don't want accidentally give too many permissions while logging in. Just give me email and password inputs, don't block password managers and don't force any magick link nonsense and I'm happy. I don't even need passkey support

If I don’t look, there is no bug
I understand that developers don't always have time or interest to fix my problems (specially with FOSS projects), but this just feels like rubbing it in my face. Just close the issue after initial assessment if it looks like a non-fixable and low priority.

Excellent tip
It never ceases to amaze me how most users just ignore all settings and go with default values for everything.
App started showing lengthy and disrupting ads? I guess I'll just have to watch those. App now sends hurtful old memories? I guess I'll just suffer.

[OC] Unsubscribe? Nope! We'll Just Add You To An "Unsubscribers" List!
Just mark those as spam if you are using any big email providers. Causes much more headache for them and you don't need to play their find the correct unsubscribe button games

It has been 0 days since I last had this conversation
Usually:
Manager: We (meaning you) need to do task A. How long will it take?
Me: Task A will take X days to do.
Manager: That seems awful long, are you sure you are using our choice of AI tool correctly? NVM I vibe code that myself
Later:
Manager: Here is my vibe coded single PR with features A, B, F, and some refactoring. I have no idea what it does, could you check that it works? I have no specs, documentation or tickets for any of this and I don't have time to fix failing CI gates

Epic Games CEO says it’s ‘really irresponsible’ of Steam to make studios disclose AI use | VGC - 25th Jun 2026
They see that AI badge lowers their profits so of course they are lobbying against such thing. Big corps are not your friends.

This is fine

Have you tried firefox containers? It's a bit clunky but it should do just that

Kevin Barry, the founder and original developer of Nova Launcher has stopped working on Nova Launcher and the open sourcing efforts.
I just hope there won't be any enshittification phases, just abandon it or remove it from play store if open sourcing it as-is is not possible.

Well that looks cool. I just hope I would have use for such device.
I wonder how they plan to keep updating this Mechanix OS after initial sales slow down
