It makes my throat sore for days and my coworkers set the AC at 16ºC (60 F) working continuously when it's 21ºC (70 F) outside and raining just because it's Summer.

I'm sorry, you're absolutely right. There was in no way or shape an organization of countries in Europe back then. There was the European Economic Community, but that's not related with the EU at all, totally different countries.
I should have never used the term EU referring to a group of European countries in the 21st century that had absolutely nothing to do with the countries of the EEC.

From what I've read in other news, the digital euro wallet will have a hard limit on the amount you can store in it, something like 1000 euros for example. Also, it needs to be linked to a physical euro bank account. Those features combined prevent fraud and speculation. It's mostly to be used as an online payment method to circumvent the Visa/Mastercard american payment duopoly.
