Anna's Archive Owes $340 Million, Lost Several Domains, but It's Still Online * TorrentFreak

I hope they survive. They have an insane amount of books that might be near impossible to find today. I was trying to purchase old European comics that I read when I was a kid. French, Belgian, Spanish comics from the Heavy Metal, Metal Hurlant times and so on...

Quite a few have gone out of print for a long while, with a single issue sometimes selling used for over 100US, and not in very...minty condition (they're old, after all). But they have good scans of them in Anna's. I downloaded a few I can't purchase anymore...and I'm going to go to a print shop to get them custom print.

GrapheneOS: The initial devices with GrapheneOS support should be available in 2027. The initial devices will be flagships so they'll be higher end hardware than Pixels at a higher price.

Because they don't have the TPM lock they want for enhanced security. It's a nonstarter for GrapheneOS devs and the reason only now they're starting to branch out. However they mentioned literally Qualcomm by name integrating it on their latest elite series, so I'm thinking more devices might be compatible in the future?

YSK: Google tracks your app usage and so much more

Turning off your history in Google is about as useful as using the incognito mode in Chrome. It just hides it from you, but you can be sure Google is keeping their own copy. Don't use Chrome, gmail, Google docs.... Use custom ungoogled roms (GrapheneOS, LineageOS). Switch to Linux, use privacy friendly dns, or even your own... The path to privacy is a long and arduous constant fight, full of inconveniences.
