MO2 is still the way to go for more control, but vortex isn't too bad either, it's just that most people use MO2 at least on the old sub. Mods are mostly preference. Even cleaning the vanilla master plug-ins is debatable. If you have the time, I would experiment with wabbajack lists. If you just want fixes/essentials and want to do everything else yourself, there is Skyrim Modding Essentials by Phoenix.

I used RW2 for a while, then liked water for enb, and I tried cathedral water and liked it too. There's synthesis patches for Water for ENB and RW2 so you can auto patch your load order.

I like NordWarUA's armor replacers. I'm also a fan of the various outfits by DeserterX, docteure, dint999, Harry2135 and Team TAL. 4th Unknown has some great armor too. I also use Kirax's project vindictus armor packs, hard to get nowadays. Oh and Artisian Cloaks and Apachii Divine Elegance.

For weapons, I like Dawnguard Arsenal and ArteFakes. Unique Uniques is also good.

Hi, I wouldn't mind joining to be a mod. I'm knowledgeable about PC gaming and making very simple mods/patches, no console knowledge. I've moderated on reddit before, but lemmy is definitely different. I'm new to lemmy and am experimenting with it still. I mod a lemmy community on a different account, it's not very active so I have time for this one.

Yes and no. For this account it is linked to my mod page for skyrim, so used the same name. My other accounts were able to get usernames I originally wanted but were unavailable.

I believe Haugbui's predecessor used to be compatible with D.U.I., that's the setup I last had. Now they have split into newer versions that are not compatible. Tough choice between them!

It took me years to get to the DLC. Had og skyrim on Xbox 360 and it wasn't until 2022 on special edition (PC) that I beat the DLCs. I still haven't gathered all the black books.

I'm using the S10+. I'm happy with it, but it's my first curved phone and I've been having the worst luck getting a screen protector on it that doesn't start lifting because I can't get them on the screen perfectly lined up. Other than that, not much to complain about. I've had a couple of Samsung phones before this one, On5 being the worst. I upgrade maybe every 5 years but I hate the design of the newer phones and want to keep this one for longer. Only have used android phones and only use windows as well.

What did he mean by thal doxxed him? Was he using his real name on his nexus account? That's doxxing yourself. Otherwise yeah that's pretty bad to doxx someone else if thal did indeed give out his full name and other identifying information. I keep reading about mod authors getting harassment in real life and I always wondered how people were able to get the authors' real names, phone numbers, etc.

All of this drama reads like a bunch of teenagers interacting tbh. If someone presented this to me as a script, I would tell them it was badly written haha
