Xbox wants you to pay 24 to 40 cents per hour to stream games you already bought: Time-based a la carte charges come on top of the purchase price for the games themselves.
They can have my longest finger while I game on Cachy

Heard about that guy who worked 25 years at Adobe, got laid off, couldn't find a job for a year and became a bus driver? That is our reality today.

Tonight in Paris, France 🇫🇷
Sad to see innocent businesses getting destroyed. Sad to see schools not being modernized as per request of students and protesters. Sad to see government not doing due diligence to listen to their people, especially children.
Happy to see people protesting not only for 5 hours. Happy to see repercussions of not being heard. Happy to see that France shows the whole world how one should protest.

For those who do not want to click:
Nemesis system is probably the most notable because it was a great mechanic that everyone liked. And it is only been used in 2 games and never again.
Edit: Ubisoft and Rocksmith instead of Guitar Hero.

This is Android's new 'advanced flow' for sideloading apps without verification, includes one-day waiting period
To those who think it is a fair compromise: It is not.
Android already had one layer of this shit before. When installid freshly dowloaded apk, android would prompt you to confirm that the source of the apk is trusted. This was not like this before. Before you'd just install apk.
And I agree to a certain amount. But thing is, it was added for no specific reason. People who install apks form outside source, will keep doing it and they 99% of the time know what they are doing or being told to do so by someone who knows what they are doing.
Adding another layer to this wont solve the problem, except make users annoyed for 24h wait time. And this is only adding 1 layer now. Who the fuck knows what is going to be 1 year later. 5 years later?

It's actually that simple.

No AI* Here - A Response to Mozilla's Next Chapter - Waterfox Blog
I really fail to se what Firefox is trying to do.
There is a sizeable amount of people who wish to stay off chromium and avoid AI entirely. Not like FF has a major % of userbase in the internet. They could've cater to those people by evading AI entirely and probably would gain much bigger user base by doing that. Spread of word and all. Why would they go the opposite way and stray even more people away from their already tiny core user amount? Doesn't make sense to me. Did they pair with OpenAI or any other AI company who paid them monnies to be brainless idiots?

Nearly 90% of Windows Games now run on Linux, latest data shows — as Windows 10 dies, gaming on Linux is more viable than ever
The only ones that wouldn't work are probably the ones with kernel level anti cheat. Maybe if I would be much younger, I might have had different opinion, but, as of today, I believe that all these games that wont run on Linux due to anti-cheat are cancer anyway.

not cancels, rolls back, stops or retracts. Delay is just doing something later than expected. This will not bring people back or change their minds.

Nvidia really doesn't seem to care about gaming GPUs anymore — the company won't even bother to break down graphics sales in its big investor reports
Maybe now devs will care about optimization since nobody can buy GPUs hence no one will pay for a game that they cant run. Either optimization or bankrupcy ig.

Valve Sued By The Performing Rights Society Over Music Rights in Games Valve Doesn’t Make or Own
Not that I love ActMan, but day to day news about Valve controversies do make me feel the same about these claims as ActMan. It really feels like if suddenly everyone wants to sue Valve to the ground so they got destroyed and other lesser fair gaming companies secure their market.
Valve is no angel. But if we compare to others, they are next best thing to a Saint.

Anon goes back to Windows 10
Win10 is when telemetry was implemented for the first time. You'd better be off with win8.1 with some custom start menu adjustments or straight back to a heaven of Win7.
Or, inhales deeply, just install Linux and do not bother with MS crap cause Linux just works and there is some sort of a distro for pretty much anyone's taste and preferences that will serve them as good or even better than win10/11/8.1/7.
