What's the underrated quote that will stick with you for life?

"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all." -A clump of talking stars in Futurama I look at it like being a good custodian or someone who takes pride in the smallest details of their work, regardless of whether or not you receive recognition for them. Most people don't notice the effort being put in when things are running smoothly. The work of the people behind the scenes is directly responsible for successes in the spotlight.

Astronomers discover biggest ever seen black hole jets, which blast hot plasma well beyond their own host galaxy

Mathematically, it's possible, but scientists are still skeptical about whether or not they are real. They're called white holes and you can actually create a model of one in your kitchen sink. If you let the water just hit the bottom and spread out evenly in all directions, you can kind of visualize the way it's supposed to work. Action Lab on YouTube actually has a pretty good video about it which I suggest watching if you're interested. https://youtu.be/p3P4iKb24Ng?si=b3_RHuj0J3F_7DC1

Magness rejects Sanders’ call to resign as Arkansas Board of Corrections chairman, says he will finish term | Arkansas Democrat Gazette

I live near old Benny's hometown. He's a fucking piece of human garbage drug kingpin. Basically all the meth in the Ozarks in North Central Arkansas and South Central Missouri stems from him. All the police departments are in his pocket. He is nigh untouchable since he has his oil money and runs the prisons. Anybody who gets in his way is promptly arrested. I have been so tempted to vandalize his property but there's no way I'd get away with it. I can't wait till ol' Fagness finally sees retribution for all the lives he's ruined because money. Fuck him and fuck anybody who supports him in any way. I hope his balls rot off.

Do y'all have any music or playlists you find particularly helpful when trying get work tasks done? (The computer kind of work)

Also interested. I also like math rock on occasion. It makes for a great task soundtrack. Much like video game music, it kind of adds a sense of urgency to whatever you're doing, like beating the clock or setting a new high score, but it's doing the dishes. I'd be curious to see how your Playlist differs from what I normally listen to.
