Australia’s teen social media ban is a flop. But there’s no joy in ‘I told you so’
‘…internally the government was aware of a lack of evidence to support the ban before they passed the legislation anyway’
Terrific job, gov.

Rising Fuel Prices Are Making Return‑to‑Office Mandates Harder to Defend
I still get a giggle at the idea of a bunch of wealthy CEOs gathering in a boardroom and one of them going ‘the staff are happier and healthier by working from home, and the company is doing better as a result… how do we stop it?!’

It's sad that people completely misunderstand what Star Trek is about.
Agreed. People should dislike modern Star Trek for it’s bad writing, not because it’s progressive.

Its way too tin-foil-hat of me to bring up how Bill Gates was in bed with the shadiest world leaders and how that might influence these sort of decisions, right? I’m definitely just being a conspiracy theorist here.

*Government: [insert blatant authoritarian/fascist requirement]… for the benefit of the kids. *
Its probably smarter to assume that every decision a gov makes is an attempt at backdoor-ing more surveillance.
