If it's a job that affords you the ability to still be able to enjoy the things you want to do, then it's definitely not a wasted life. The worthiness of life isn't defined by the way we earn money.

That being said, if you're looking for other jobs that are maybe less taxing so that you can have more time to enjoy your life, and if you can afford it, you could go do something easier for sure. (I certainly wouldn't classify fighting as an 'easy' job). The security guys at my work get to do whatever basically for 10 of the 12 hrs they work, one guy is writing a book, the other guy learned different languages. You could try something like that? And then if you have energy after you can go to open mics or something to get your musical talent out in the world without feeling stressed about needing to make money off it.

As someone who was a server and in customer service for 10+ years, there's definitely people that can become friends. There are also people who are purely customers whose name I remember and who I think of fondly at times. So the cartels, who profit directly from the high demand of drugs by Americans, were given weapons, by Americans, to meet that demand of drugs. They then essentially hijacked the mexican government with those guns and violence in order to keep their drug supply available to Americans, meanwhile destroying hope for peaceful life for many many towns and people in mexico. But it's the Mexicans trying to escape those problems, once again created by demand in the US, who are the problem?

You know who doesn't have a fentanyl problem? Mexico. They're not the ones creating demand.

I think something this article missed is that the autism awareness tattoo, while looking absolutely nothing like a gang tattoo, does very much look like a pride tattoo, and we know these people are not only targeting immigrants (or people who look like immigrants) but also trans and the LGBTQ+ community at large.

Honestly they clean those seats after every patient anyway so I think the paper is just there because of lobbying from Big Paper.
