Unfortunately it's a general theme in Open Source. I lost almost all motivation for programming in my free-time because of all these AI-slop(-PRs). It's kinda sad, how that Art (among others) is flooded with slop...

I still have (or rather had) some screen-tearing somewhere. I very much have annihilated that issue with settings in X11 (though some application somewhere still has issues, be it the video player). And it just feels clunky non the less.

Although I'm currently not using Hyprland, it really feels nice to use, really flowy. I'm currently testing COSMIC (which is reasonably still in alpha, as I got issues with *** nvidia, like suspend sometimes hangs the computer).

That said, I think it's still ok to wait until the whole ecosystem is well supported in wayland, and *** nvidia finally got their wayland shit together.

I think it's just to avoid explaining why, and how they harvest your data. That said, I also hate how a lot of errors of the big corpo are just like "This site has an error" no error-code, no further feedback what to do etc.

Don't forget that the Internet is currently ruined by AI-slop that is continuously flooding once interesting human-created content. This is probably my biggest gripe of AI. I've significantly reduced my screen-time, basically stopped coding in my free-time because of this sloppy mess that we call Internet right now...
