Rockstar co-founder [Dan Houser] compares AI to 'mad cow disease,' and says the execs pushing it aren't 'fully-rounded humans'

You know analogy and argument are not the same thing, right? Like, not at all. I'm not the guy you replied to, but I definitely did not get the impression he meant anything even close to "meaningful argument".

And you know what? I think he's right; that is a very apt analogy when taking about sophisticated bullshit generators. Cause that's the version they keep trying to sell to the public. This isn't about data analysis or any other if the creative scientific applications of this technology.

Not just suitors, I'm afraid. The vast majority of the women you will meet in your life have been the victim of some form of sexual harassment, if not outright assault or rape.

So, yeah, it's disheartening but I totally agree with your perspective on this.

Anon buys a car

Legally, no. Which of course is the most common way to interpret that word.

Did he defraud the dealership? Absolutely! And frankly, good for him. The market for buying new cars in our country is one of the more exploitative systems that our society has managed to create, and that's saying something.

Large crowd uses civil disobedience to shut down MSP airport during the statewide economic shutdown in protest of tyranny (Minnesota | 01/23/26 | -15°F)

Reply in thread

The Metropolitan Airports Commission said it worked in advance with event organizers and provided a permit that determined a maximum number of protesters who could attend. The number of people in attendance "went beyond the agreed-upon terms," MAC said, and police made several arrests

So, it's illegal to protest for something that's too popular??

“This is what I voted for?”: Trump supporter loses farm and income to tariffs, only to be mocked online

Actually, that's not the issue. Like, for real, I'm not trying to mock you it anything like that; I submit disagree with the premise.

The problem is fear, not lack of intelligence. They're cowards. Fear can, and will, make fools of the smartest people. But really, what's the common theme in literally all Republican messaging? Fear.
