Adjustable spanners are named "switch keys"(sort of directly translated) in my native language, and the theme this week for a photo challenge on a discord I'm in was keys 😃

Need to remember to snap a photo at the start of the next ride as well. I pondered going up and down the street a few times to get it to tick over to 9001. Bought it winter 2023, started riding it in march 2022.

Dino got a tumor in the stomach, inoperable. He got the shot last Sunday, it was for the best. Rather than him starving to death. He was 11 years old, and lived a good life with us. He came to us from a household with many cats, at the ripe age of four. He was bullied by the other cats. He seemed to be really happy with just our company. We managed to get him to loose a lot of weight as well, he couldn't wash his behind properly when we got him. He loved his plastic bag, and chilling in the shade at the balcony. I'll always remember my annoying orange chunker

What the title says. Currently got a commuter style bicycle with "quick release" axles. Can I switch to Thruaxle style somehow? Seems like you can use nicer bearings and stuff with those. And I really would like even better "roll" when commuting

Read something about the frame needing to be different for thruaxle, but I'm getting conflicting information from the internet and friends that ride racer bicycles😃

Edit: I've got hydraulic disc brakes if that matters

On a small, rural road, about 45 minutes from home. Had to be quick with the photo... hadn't seen another vehicle in quite some time, but Murhpy's law sent a car just a minute after I stopped😃. The bike is a Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel 2022

Decided to take the backroads instead of the main road when I went to visit my dad ~1 hour away this weekend. I don't understand why I ever take the other road now tbh. It was fairly warm, around 7-10°C, but got colder in the shadier parts of woods and such, still snow and ice on the roadside, but everything went fine. I took my "spring/summer" gloves that are ventilated, was a bit cold, but I've got heated grips, so it worked out in the end. The bike's a Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel 2022 for anyone interested :).
