RIP to the Russiagate Liberals

Funny seeing dipshits like this that think they can just hand wave the last 15 years of reality away just because Republicans refused to do anything about their Moscovian candidate. "See he was never held accountable" and "look how ignorant Republicans are" isn't the flex you think it is.

Target will only sell Pride Month collection in some stores after backlash in 2023

Reply in thread

May 2023 - "Target removes some Pride Month products after threats against employees" https://www.npr.org/2023/05/24/1177963864/target-pride-month-lgbtq-products-threats

Terrorism is an appropriate word here. Threats of violence to achieve political goals. They threatened employees with violence because the store chose to offer those items. I'm not really sure how much more clear cut it can get. Terrorism isn't just killing people.

terrorism /tĕr′ə-rĭz″əm/ noun

  • The use of violence or the threat of violence, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political goals.
  • The act of terrorizing, or state of being terrorized; a mode of government by terror or intimidation.
  • The practice of coercing governments to accede to political demands by committing violence on civilian targets; any similar use of violence to achieve goals.
  • The deliberate commission of an act of violence to create an emotional response through the suffering of the victims in the furtherance of a political or social agenda.
  • Violence against civilians to achieve military or political objectives.
  • A psychological strategy of war for gaining political or religious ends by deliberately creating a climate of fear among the population of a state.
  • The calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear.

He wanted the criminals gone, so he voted for Trump. Now ICE has taken his brother. Sergio Martinez in Addison, IL about the recent capture of his brother.

The propaganda riddled mind... "he's only going for the criminals my brother isn't a criminal why was he grabbed off the street like he was?!... yes i voted for Donald Trump... who is the one doing this"...

And still unable to make the connection. He voted for racism. Trump told him he was going to do this. What did he think "MASS DEPORTATION NOW" meant when he saw those signs at his rallies? Sounds like he thought they were "the good ones". Clearly he's not familiar with conservative nuance.

He is having the day he voted for. Maybe now that he has touched the hot stove he can consider that the lies he has been hearing about other peoples of color might be more similar to his brothers situation than "they are all criminals except for my brother." I won't hold my breath though.

Even his comments here show an irredeemable nature as I'm sure his idea of "criminals" follows the same conservative "unless they are in my in group any person of color is likely a criminal" bullshit that they just love to apply to the world. Like a reverse benefit of the doubt.

He can't wait to call ICE on others but is surprised others see him and his brother as criminals through the same criminal lens. I feel no pity for this man, and only pity for the brother if he didn't support this shit. Otherwise he's just enjoying the fruits of his political endeavors and I definitely prefer when those consequences also fall on those who are not victimless themselves.

*Permanently Deleted*

You either support the hate, vitriol and murder against trans people, or you don't. There is no middle ground.

The idea that demanding trans people be treated with the dignity and respect other classes of people expect as being "aggressive" is just a pathetic way to try to deflect from their desire to support the side they know they cannot morally defend. It allows them to pretend "both sides" are at fault in order to deflect for the hate they functionally support. Only a stark moron could look at the current events relative to the treatment of trans people and think they are somehow demanding greater rights than the rest of us have.

Just another flavor of the "both sides" bullshit that has permeated politics; but only one side has abandoned democracy and staged an insurrection while collectively acting like the victims in the aftermath.

If you are a "centrist" and this seems like an appealing position to support, maybe you should take a long, long look in the mirror.

Wichita to pay $262,500 after police stood outside as man stabbed roommate up to 50 times

Bootlicker Fantasy: "If you defund the police what are you going to do if someone attacks you?"

Police Reality: "We hear a citizen being attacked, maybe if we wait it will go away or become someone else's problem. These things have a tendency to work themselves out where I don't have to put myself in harms way... the most important thing is assuming no risk so I can get home to my family because I'm a hero."

The Real Crime Isn’t Shoplifting—It’s Wage Theft

The largest category of theft in America by a far margin. Even crazier when you consider people are murdered by police over property theft while corporate fucks are untouchable.

"According to the Economic Policy Institute, wage theft costs U.S. workers as much as $50 billion per year — a number far higher than all robberies, burglaries and motor vehicle thefts combined."

Trump heading for Republican 'coronation' as 2024 rivals struggle to stop him

We know Trump lied about the election. He staged a coupt to try to maintain power based on those lies which many of his followers are still paying the price. Hell the Fulton County DA just announced they have evidence team Trump was involved in voting systems breaches across several states.

To think this man is the right man to make your candidate says a great deal about the moral and ethical foundations of both republicanism, and the people that choose to support the party as they prop this traitor up.

I hope you all are paying attention. They don't quell calls for civil war in their ranks. In fact its celebrated as a rallying cry. Republicans are doing everything in their power to subvert democracy and steal our country from the rest of us.

I would argue at this point you cannot be a republican without being a seditionist seeking to install their christofascist dictatorship, whether that's subscribing to the whole bag or supporting as a single issue voter. If you guve them power you are responsible for what they use it for.

These people have been hopped up on so much lies and bullshit dressed up as "patriotism" that they are a very real threat to any American just trying to live their lives and get by. Ask trans Americans how the last couple of years have been as the target of their hate and bigotry.

Brett Kavanaugh says justices are working on ‘concrete steps’ on ethics

"We're TOTALLY going to start policing ourselves one day. Just you wait and see. When? This year isn't good we have an election coming up and we need to make sure the American people can weigh in on this very important matter [so we can see if Republicans will overthrow democracy and we can move on from this without change. Clarence's mom ain't paying rent and I got "baseball tickets" ill need another "small" loan for...]."
